This Mercedes-Benz glass panoramic removable hardtop is finished in Silver Arrow Metallic (777) and was built for use on 1990-2002 R129 series cars of the era. The top features a steel frame, a glass panoramic roof with a retractable sunshade, glass windows, and Tan vinyl trim. This R129 SL hardtop is now offered from the seller with a rolling stand in Saugus, Massachusetts.
The top has been previously repainted in Silver Arrow Metallic (777) and shows in excellent condition. Features include a panoramic glass roof and glass windows with painted steel bodywork along the frame. The original Siglia glass markings from the factory are present on the windows along with the Alarm stickers and are visible in the gallery below. The exterior is noted to be clean with no scratches.
The interior of the top features a retractable sunshade and grab handles on both the driver and passenger sides. The sunshade operates smoothly and extends/retracts as designed without issue.
The non-glass interior surfaces are trimmed in Tan vinyl and photos showing the condition of the interior surfaces are provided in the gallery. The seller notes wear marks on the pillar trim on each side. The top has been tested and all latch points operate correctly when mated with an R129 chassis vehicle. Rubber and felt trim points appear in good condition with no major deterioration or obvious wear.
This rare pano top comes with the rolling stand and has no chips, cracks or scratches in the glass and is now offered by the seller in Saugus, Massachusetts.

The silver arrow trims are bright aluminum and match the brighter trim on the top of the door and the windscreen. Used to be able to buy the brighter trim but it is NLA from Mercedes now. All other pano tops have a darker metal trim. Most noticeable at the bottom of the rear corner window where it is almost like black chrome@SilverArrowR129 I wasn’t aware of different window trims. I can take a look and attach additional pictures if you can tell me what to look for.Do we know if the correct silver arrow window trims were used after the repaint?
