I would be willing to take the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of West Palm Beach (I have no affiliation there) and having it gone through at buyers expense. If this vehicle is affected by the balance shaft issue not only would I pay for the inspection but I would cancel the sale.
For those of you concerned with transporting the vehicle just know it would be sold with a Florida temporary tag.
@Dolsey01 We have never had a CEL reflecting the fault codes 1200 and 1208 which specifies the balance shaft repair required for vehicles exhibiting these codes. If the faults were present the CEL would appear immediately. Therefore no repair necessary as per bulletin. Happy Bidding
Good evening folks. I wanted to be clear that this is a 1 owner car. It was purchased new and then bought off lease by the original lessee. I have had the pleasure of maintaining this vehicle over the past 11yrs for the original owner who never speared any expense in maintaining the vehicle and only parted ways after taking delivery of a brand new Mercedes-Benz.
