@Bosco23No problem with holding the vehicle until next week. I can't really help with transport personally. Even if shipping was $250, it would probably cost at least $200 for a one way rental, round trip gas and round trip tolls in addition to 5+ hours commitment of time. The rear seats do not fold down.
@Bosco23I am approximately 20 miles Southeast of the city of Buffalo.
I don't believe the Control Arms were rust related. It was the first time and the last time I used that shop because it seems like they fixed things that weren't broken, and did not fix things like the Heater Control Valve, which was replaced at a later time. No issues with the windows or sunroof.
@OriginalAndRare164 is Front Bumper. 165 is Right Front Door. 168 & 172 are Front Fenders. 167 is the Hood.
@MB12The VIN tags on the quarter panels taken from inside the trunk are image 169 and 173. The VIN tag in the trunk lid itself is image 176. Everything works as intended, and nothing is in need of repair at this time. I will likely be able to get additional engine compartment pics around noon EST today. Can you send me a message via the message seller feature incase I am unable to get the additional pictures uploaded promptly so I can send them to you directly?
@MB12 I do not have any records showing that the timing chain was replaced. Image 66 shows the small rust spot on the right side below the rear window only visible when the trunk lid is open.
@MB12 There is not a buy it now option.
@Cahrens The car is very turn key and ready to be driven. The original owner had a very open checkbook approach to maintaining this vehicle. In my 4+ years of ownership, the only non routine service was Valve Cover Gasket replacement. The first driving video shows a very even operating temperature on 74 degree day with the A/C on.
@Davidsbenz560 The invoice is now uploaded showing the rear suspension refresh in 2011 approximately 5,000 miles ago.
@Davidsbenz560 Image 66 shows the only presence of rust on any body panel. I believe it is a total of 97 MB Dealership Service/Maintenance invoices from the original ownership shown in Image 177 that I am happy to review in further detail with any interested party upon request. I will comment more specifically on the items in question when I am back at the house. I recall seeing an invoice covering rear accumulator replacement within the past 10 years or so, but I will upload a copy of that invoice within 24 hours.
@mhs244 Thanks for your inquiry. The winning bidder of the original auction went silent a couple of days after the conclusion of the auction. He did not attempt to follow through with his purchase committment in any way, so I have to assume he did not have the financial resources to complete the transaction.
@mhs244 Thanks for your inquiry. The winner of the auction went silent a couple of days after the conclusion of the auction. There was never an occasion where he came to see the car. My best guess is that he did not have the financial resources to follow through with his purchase committment.
@edand Thanks for your comment. If I didn't have so many commitments in life, I would offer to drive it accross the country to you!
