@PJonaPJUpdate: I just went and checked these items. By the way, the alarm works:-) Yes, the rear shade does operate and I took a video of it. Also, I double checked Parktronic. Actually, all lights and displays worked. I had the car parked in a small garage and was not able to take it out and confirm the full Parktronic operation due to rain, I don't take it out in any rain, snow, etc. All of the sensors front and back were showing red indicating close to something in the garage so I am not 100% sure if they are working 100% correct or not. I usually drive the cars with the sensors off. By the way, both side mirrors fully function and I meant to take a video of that also. Thank you!
@BenzcrazyI found the undercarriage images and will post shortly. I am checking with MB market how to upload these.
I think I have a couple undercarriage photos I can dig up and add from a couple months ago. If not, I will get some added this weekend. The Parktronic is working correctly as I recall other then one of the four back lights on the display LCDs is dim. I don’t think I have tried the rear shade as it is always parked inside. I will check and advise.
Hello All, following up on some of the below comments or questions. I will try to get some under carriage images. The car has spent most of its life in California and Texas so these are friendly areas of the country for metals, etc. Also, while I have owned the car in Ohio I have never driven it in bad weather. I have owned 12 W140 S600’s since the late 90’s and this is a very solid car and example that I have proactively maintained with an open checkbook.
Regarding the wheels, it is my understanding these AMG wheels were all dealer installed options. Cheers
Hi all, that is water from washing the car. Thanks!
If the buyer decides not to complete the sale, please let me know. I was asleep at the switch on this.
Hello, could you tell us mechanically what may need attention? Any issues at all you know of. Is soft close working on doors and trunk, all windows work, any suspension issues, warning lights, concerning noises, etc.? Thank you....
