1) During the repaint of the car, the entire upper portion (Hood, fenders, doors, trunk, roof, pillars, sunroof, rear quarter panels/vents) was repainted in its factory color (Smoke Silver 702) and the lower portion (front/rear bumpers, rear quarter panel cladding) was repainted in its factor (Mussel Grey 7176). The only original portions are the door claddings, fender claddings, and side skirts.

2) The car is silent and tight inside while driving and there is not any loose interior trim. Regarding the noise in the driving video, it seems to be road noise from bumps in the road. All the interior trim is firmly intact and not loose by any means.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for viewing my 1990 190E 2.6, this one is a well-sorted, and cared-for example of a W201. This 190E runs and drives excellent and all functions work perfectly. The freshly rebuilt transmission shifts smoothly and the engine idles great with new injectors, spark plugs, and rebuilt head with new gaskets. All features work including sunroof slide/tilt, all windows, interior/exterior lights, Becker stereo, seat mechanisms, vacuum system, and climate control. AC is ice cold and the heater blows hot. It has been a California car since new and no rust or corrosion is present. I have all records of the car since my ownership in 2017 all performed by Mercedes Silver Star Escondido, Mercedes of San Diego, and Mercedes Service and Repair Lemon Grove for all repairs and maintenance. It comes with 2 keys with a keyless go-unlocking remote, a spare rim, factory tools and jack, all manuals, spare parts and a custom fit car cover.

Recent Services last 3k miles:
– Transmission rebuilt (March 2024)
– Set of 4 Michelin X-Tour tires (195/65) (March 2024)
– Starter and muffler replaced (April 2024)
– Mercedes Battery installed (April 2024)
– Ac drier/Ac valve/r134 freon recharge (July 2024)

Please watch all the videos and feel free to send any other questions. Happy bidding, and good luck!

No, I had the whole coolant system flushed along with all fluids when I purchased the car. There is no longer any bars leak in the coolant system. I also have replaced the water pump and radiator this year along with a coolant hose to thermostat. There is just fresh coolant now added.

Yes, the keyless entry is aftermarket, and works perfectly. You can still manually unlock and lock the car with the key in the door handle slot if you prefer as well.

This C124 is rust free due to it being a CA car it’s whole life. The undercarriage has no rust on any components, and none on any base of pillars or subframe mount points. No rust on body either and nothing under the windows or door panels or fenders. The rear window has no delimitation it all, as you can see photos of a clear rear windshield in the photo gallery. I will upload some jack point photos later today.

Yes, the AC blows ice cold, and heater works great too. It has a brand new blower motor and blower motor regulator installed, no ac leaks and has been converted to R134.

Regarding the wiring harness it is still original and intact no degrading and is not affected from the biodegradable 93-95 m104 because this is the early m104.980 before they implemented that issue.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for viewing my C124 Coupe, it has been a great time owning it and it turns heads everywhere I take it. I am a big fan of the C124 and this one is a proper example of what a C124 should look and drive like after putting various amount of work into it as shown in the description. It has just passed smog shown in the paper work gallery, even though it says failed in the Carfax, this can disregarded. Please feel free to send any other questions about the car, I am here to answer them.
