Your answer dont make any sense. Not wanting to show pictures before and after is a big red flag. German Elkamet plastic is a German company that sells sign material world wide, even in USA. Premerge amg didnt have the round logo. It came later. From what i can see on the images the sign is printed and laminated. In the 80 they used die cut, screen printing The logo on the sign looks like the version mario did 20 years ago when he made aftermarket badges. I never mentioned AI,
Same sign, two storys. You write "This Mercedes-Benz AMG illuminated sign was acquired by the seller in Hamburg, Germany from a retired AMG lineman. It was reportedly displayed in an AMG specialty shop under previous ownership." PorscheHistorianPhD. uses same pictures on another auction. "The previous owner had worked for AMG there in Germany (pre merger) and had several sets of beautiful AMG artifacts and he bought a few of these choice Mercedes Benz AMG collectibles from him. It was only recently in the past couple of years that my husband realized just how rare and valuable they are. Restoring these vaunted vintage signs from our collection is not done or restored in a production facility as we have previously stated to you. (Please see the photo gallery) My husband has the knowledge agency and scholarship of how to (properly) bring these signs back to life at a high quality level and luster." If you had restored them, you would have taken pictures before and after. Can you provide the images of how the sign was before restoration? Every expert that restores unique items does document it. If they are original AMG parts, then there must be some kind of prof. Images in catalogs, car magazines, the internet, etc. The only images are the ones you have on different auction sites. Since you are an expert, you should be able to show some kinde of history or prof. Bill of sale is not a prof.
When looking on picture 22 https://thembmarket.com/cdn-cgi/image/fit=contain,width=1300,quality=89//uploads/listings/dr-m-benzphd/amg/low_resolution/IMG_0294.jpeg The sign is in a sign shop. You can see profiles above the sign, maxmetal (sign manufacturing aluminium) On the bottom its 2 more round amg signs, one black and one green.
