The body wears Maple Yellow (606) paint which underwent a thorough compound, polish and AMMO reflex sealant this month. Photos and video of the detail progress are viewable in the gallery below. Features include chrome beltline trim, chrome and rubber US-spec bumpers, power sunroof, fog lights, and chrome mirror caps. They are mounted with a brand-new set of custom-made Diamondback Classic radial whitewall tires which were manufactured specifically for use on this particular 300CD. Detailed photos of the underbody, wheel wells and suspension components with the wheels removed are viewable below and show a remarkably clean and rust-free undercarriage throughout. The front springs appear to have been recently replaced and are viewable in the photos below.

Small areas of delamination are evident near the window switches and are highlighted in the gallery. The seller states that the A/C is currently inoperable. The driver’s side window switch bezel is cracked but all power windows are in working condition and the central locking system performs as intended. The electric sunroof operates as designed.
The bulk of the interior, including the rear seats, was removed for thorough cleaning during the extensive detail. During that time the floors, rear firewall, and other interior sheet metal were inspected and reportedly present as rust-free and extremely solid. A set of Coco-mats are installed and will accompany the sale and a small seam-split is visible next to the driver’s seat backrest adjustment wheel. The top of the rear seatback is faded but will be restored by Fibrenew interior restoration services prior to pickup of the vehicle by the new owner.

Additional underbody photos along with a very detailed video from AMMO NYC have been provided below.
Mercedes-Benz hit the nail on the head with the W123. Available as a sedan, wagon, and coupe, the W123 chassis was built like a tank and every automobile enthusiast knows the legendary reliability and build quality of these cars. The W123 was approachable, inviting, and gorgeous from all angles. The engineering of these cars was a notable accomplishment and when the car was first released, waiting lists stretched to over a year long. While it’s not uncommon to still see these cars still roaming the Earth today, it is quite rare to find one in this condition. Low mileage with a healthy OM617 and smooth-shifting transmission… that’s a tall order. Add to that equation a multi-thousand dollar detail by the world's best (and best known) automotive detailer, and you're staring at a real winner. If you’re looking for a superbly-engineered pillarless coupe built for supreme safety and longevity, in the cleanest condition imaginieable, (or you just want to be featured in the next AMMO NYC video) then this is the one!

In the video, it was mentioned that the upholstery guy would be there to address the fading on the back seating. Was this also completed?
New photos showing paint repair/touch up to the scrape on the roof have been added to the gallery. As per the seller, the dents are fully repairable but the Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) expert who was enlisted to do the repair recommended not disturbing the "nearly perfect" original headliner to effectuate the repair at this time. Thus, these repairable dents can be addressed by the next owner but the paint issues resulting from the scape have been already been taken care of. Thank you.
Love these diesel coupes! Great to see one with proper attention given by Larry at Ammo. Seriously top tier work and it shows with this car. GLWA!

@Oldsctls67 All you have to do is remount them with the blackwall side out. No new tires needed. To each their own, I suppose. I think they look pretty good on this particular example but prefer the blackwall side out.
The first thing anybody will have to do with this car, besides fix the AC, is get a new set of tires…gross.
