This 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG was sold new by Mercedes-Benz of Southampton, New York and shows registration in New York and Oklahoma with just 57k miles on the odometer. Finished in Black (040) over Charcoal Leather (281), power is provided by a hand-built 5.4-liter supercharged V8 mated to a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, multicontour heated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Parktronic parking sensors, Bi-Xenon headlamps, a 6-Disc CD changer and an 8-speaker Bose audio system. A Pioneer touch screen head unit has been fitted to the car along with an aftermarket subwoofer. Service records totaling nearly $10k are included from current ownership. The seller notes that the fuel tank baffle is loose and makes an occasional "clunking noise" when accelerating or decelerating when the tank is less than full. A Mercedes Xentry diagnostic computer is included with the sale along with the associated cables.
