What does it say about Mercedes-Benz diesels when all of us at The MB Market decide to choose the non-gasloline variants as our daily drivers? We love AMGs as much as you do, but when you commute in traffic with a fire-breathing Affalterbach built monster, it gets really aggravating sitting amongst the crowds of congestion with nowhere to put the power down. That’s where the diesel Mercedes-Benz comes in as the best tool for the job. Their relaxed driving demeanor with that extra bit of fizzy tactility that comes with a diesel engine makes them satisfying to drive in city conditions and unbeatable on a long road trip. This extraordinarily clean and low mileage BlueTEC might be the perfect daily driver for the MB enthusiast. The W211 platform is rock solid, especially when they are garage kept and low mileage. The Columbite Black Metallic paintwork turns rootbeer in sunlight with lots of red metallic flake and the W211 legendary A/C will keep you cool with the impending summer heat. Paired with regular oil changes, excellent cosmetic refurbishments, and well optioned interior, this is the Swiss Army Knife of E-Classes with AMG levels of torque that’ll do low 30 MPGs on the highway.

Thanks everyone! Talked to the buyer and they were the family to come out and look at the car in person! That speaks to the condition of this E320. Cars can be made to look nice in pictures -- seeing them in person is a whole other matter. Thanks for the interaction to everyone who participated.
Redefining what a clean diesel is right here. So so clean!

@W126luvaa I haven’t seen another one like it. The color is wonderful in direct sunlight. Sunroof works. Both retraction and venting. I show it working in the video. Thanks!

With the car selling tomorrow, I just wanted to say good luck and I’ll be around for any last minute questions! A few things to remember: - Rare Sienna Black metallic - Original paint! - Just under 30k miles - Stamped service book - Texas owned - Recent services - New windshield and high quality tint around - ready for summer - Brand new tires - Leather interior with COMAND Just a super clean, fuel efficient E-Class. It’s turn key and ready to go. Plus it is a facelift. They got way nicer interiors.

@Lundrill It's incredibly confusing, even as Americans as to what is getting tariffs, what percentage, and when they go into effect. The legislation is so haphazardly thrown together and changes daily that no one really knows what the hell is going on. I wish I had an answer, but I do not. I'm sorry.
This car also comes with a spare wheel under that sub-carpeting. I’ll add a photo to the gallery.

Do you know if here is a tariff for a Canadian buyer?

@auctionboy_2 It does not. I’m actually not sure if the W211 came with them.
Does this car have a backup camera?

@Stevehall Pics are up. I hope you can tell what you're looking at. Some shots are at the top of the bell housing, some showing the valley of the engine, and some of the turbo. All showing no signs of oil.
Additional photos have been added to the gallery.

@Stevehall It does not. I shot under the trunk mat showing there’s no spare. Not sure if these came with full sized ones or donuts, but there’s not a lot of room under there nor is there a hole or anything to screw in a spare holder bracket. Would love for someone to chime in about that since I don’t know!
@willchao While I LOVE an OM616, the power delivery and drivability of the OM642 is gasoline levels of immediate and delivery. Really impressed with the engine. Thanks for chiming in!
Does it have a spare tire?

My wife drives a (regular) Black W211 BlueTEC and loves hers. We had to do the oil cooler seals and a few other things, but we got hers with 100k+ miles pre-enjoyed. This example is a great car...probably too nice for her to use as a daily, or I'd ask her. My wife moved up from a W210 turbodiesel and loves the extra power and comfort in the W211. Good luck with the auction!
@Stevehall You're welcome -- that's what I'm here for! I'll tag you when the pictures get uploaded tomorrow.
Thanks
@benzwishes This E320 Bluetec uses a storage-type NOx catalytic converter where the cat burns off all the diesel stuff. No need for AdBlue. I think that changed in 2010+. I don’t have an invoice for the oil cooler seals. I can’t imagine it is original with these miles and the age of the car. I saw no oil underneath the car as the transmission bell-housing gets wet when they leak. I’ll climb under the car and double check or inspect with a mirror from up top since I didn’t do that when I last had it on a lift. I don't want any surprises. I’ll get back with you! EDIT: Just had a good rooting around in the engine and I’ll have The MB Market upload some pictures. I see no oil on the bell housing, in the drip tray, and didn’t see much of anything in the valley of the engine. It’s super tight around the turbo. I saw a little bit of wetness that seemed like from a previous repair in the valley near the front of the engine around the fuel filter, but couldn’t tell the fluid since it was so old. It wasn’t black like engine oil — must be old diesel from when they changed the filter.
Welcome everyone to this NO RESERVE auction of this incredibly clean E320 Bluetec! I'm helping a friend sell his turbodiesel W211 who kindly gave it to be and said "Make it nicer than it already is and make an auction listing on my behalf." I did some good reconditioning that's all mentioned in the copy above. Most notably are the new tires a specialty shop installed, new windshield, reupholstered door pockets since they ALL peel off on a W211 for some reason, and a few other things here and there to get it dialed in and ready to hop in and drive. I really like the way these facelift Bluetec cars drive. Please watch my detailed video where I comb over the underside, tour the exterior/interior, and take you for a POV drive. I included brake fluid readings and show the engine oil in the gallery to back up the service records. I'm available to show the car by appointment as well. I'm open for Facetime and phone calls too, so PM me and we can get together if needed. Hopefully I covered everything, but I'm sure some of you will have questions -- please ask! I'm here for them. Overall, this is a very clean and very original example with recent services and I have the car set up for the buyer to hop in and enjoy.
Does this car require DEF fluid?? Did the oil cooler seals ever get replaced with the better/ newer Viton seals?? Original seals typically leaked after certain mileage.
@Stevehall Carfax is top right under the quick facts.
Where is the Carfax, don’t see it?
