These RIAL Leichtmetallfelgen 16″ Mesh Style wheels measure 8” in width on all four wheels and were manufactured by Rial Racing in West Germany for use on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Dimensions, offsets, part numbers, bolt pattern, country of origin, and manufacturing branding can be seen in the casting marks and strampings present on each wheel. The wheels have been refinished in silver at some point in the past and include locks for each center cap. Three keys are included with the sale. Mounted are Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season tires measuring 225/55 with 2021 date codes with tire tread depth meters for each tire. The RIAL branding is seen in the casting behind the centercaps bordering the center bore of each wheel. RIAL originated as a FIA Formula 1 team in the ‘80s that now focuses on wheel production. These rare RIAL wheels are now offered in Marietta, Georgia from the current seller by means of a NO RESERVE auction.
These RIAL wheels do not show their original paint and were refinished at some point in their past. The faces and lips are finished in silver. The mesh design features 20 hidden lug bolts behind removable center caps that are complete with locks and a set of keys. Three keys are included with the sale. The wheels measure 8″ wide for all four with part number A8016523. All four wheels have an offset of +23mm and bolt pattern of 5x112.
Mounted are Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season tires measuring 225/55 with 2021 date codes with tire tread depth meters for each tire. There is no dry rot on any of the wheels and shows consistent, even tread wear. The seller reports they hold air. Each tire will be inflated to 38 PSI prior to the sale.
The RIAL manufacturer’s name appears on the face of each wheel along with a production mark showing West Germany as the place of manufacture. These period correct wheels will fit onto a number of Mercedes-Benz of the era with the W126 and early R107s being the main models these will bolt onto.

@babtainy Yes they would! And they'd look sooo good on one of those. For those cars, you want an offset of ET25 or less and they like a tire that's 245 wide or less, so these will bolt right on.Hi there.. would it fi the C126 560SEC 1990?Welcome everyone to this cool wheel auction I’m hosting! Like most users here, we have wheel issues. In this instance, we hunted down this set from a local collector for a car that was purchased, but we sold it before we could really use them as they got stuffed on a back shelf. We figured it would be of better use to auction them off for another enthusiast to put to better use. To whoever wins them, I’d love to see a picture of them mounted on your car.
