Power comes from an turbocharged 3.0L OM603 diesel inline-six that sends drive to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. An extensive service in October 2024 included the installation of a new cylinder head from Mercedes along with the valves, guides, and seals. A new head gasket set and timing chain tensioner were also installed along with a new fan clutch.
