Thanks for posting the videos. It appears the tach is not working and clock may be slow. There was no demo of radio, antenna, horn, lights, windows, seats, etc. working. It would be helpful to show all those working or not since no state inspection in many years. AC can be run as weather has improved. Would appreciate knowing what does and does not work before bidding on this good looking wagon. Thanks again.
Per your CarFax there are no records since 2010 and very few miles added in the last 17 years. Please explain the history of this car and if it was in long term storage. Please also state if this has all original paint or has been repainted. Thank you.
Thank you for posting real photos here unlike other sellers using programs that enhance photos to obscure and hide known defects and make the paint and chrome look much better than reality.
Can you please send any videos of cold start and show all functions working? Are there rear seats, headrests and cargo net / shade? Is there anything like A/C, Radio, Antenna, Gauges, electric seats, sunroof or windows, etc. not working? Are there any known accidents or paint work? Do you have the original manuals and any original paperwork / bill of sale, brochures or title? Thank you.
That is not the curt reply I was expecting. Any bidder should exercise due diligence and want to see all the photos and videos when bidding on an old car, especially sight unseen and without a test drive. I requested that on both your cars, but unfortunately you were unavailable weekends and I was unavailable weekdays. Sorry you thought it was rude to put you on hold, but I was at work as you know and interrupted by others and made it clear I was sorry to have to call you back. I appreciated your reply and politely requested more info and photos, which frankly most others would have posted at the outset of an auction. Surely anyone would be surprised by the last batch of photos posted a week after a running auction not matching the attention given to the rest of the car. That's the purpose of the comments section to note concerns and request more details or photos if interested, and not to bid blindly. I have gladly answered all questions and provided all disclosures requested whenever any of my cars were being sold. It is disappointing that you took any offense to my observations rather than appreciating the obvious concerns. I most certainly did not mean any offense but rather needed more details before bidding further. By reason of your deflection, I am left to turn my attention to other rust free lower mileage cars. What a shame the undercarriage did not receive the same attention as the rest of this nice car. The worst photos were saved for last. Clearly the harsh winters and salted roads of the north east took their toll on this car and there is considerable rust warranting attention and parts replacement as well as serious cleaning and painting to prevent further decay and perhaps accidents. With no time left for personal inspection, I ask the seller to please post photos of the car when acquired and before the AMG body kit was installed and car repainted to show the condition of all body panels and frame. Thank you.

Thanks for the disclosures on mileage over 137,000. What if any overhaul has been done on engine and transmission? Were timing chain and tensioners ever serviced? Do you have any maintenance records? What documents come with the car, do you have the title, and is it subject to an estate order for executor to sign the title? Can the car be seen and delivered in NY? What is and is not working on this car? Your video did not demonstrate, radio, A/C, lights or anything else but a dead battery. You did mention the car was in storage for years, filthy and had mold!
