Beautiful wagon. I have the 2019 model of this body style. It is an amazing drive, just a beast on the highway and curvy roads. The technological advances on the modern wagons are unbelievable.
@KingKittyI certainly empathize with your sentiment, but I converted by 07’ S550 and never looked back. Any disparity in the “ride” was overshadowed by the fact I never had to deal with the suspension again.
The conversion kit makes complete sense. I had a 2004 and I loved the car, and hated the car. The airmatic suspension was a complete disaster, with all of its electronic gremlins - which is why I ultimately dumped the car. Had they had the conversion kit at the time I would have kept the car. It is in essence an S Class wagon.
I had an 04’ E500 Wagon. It was such a love hate relationship. It is essentially an S class wagon, powerful and luxurious. The ABS and airmatic struts and related components were constantly failing. I probably would have kept the car had I known about the Arnott conversion kit (which I installed in my 07’ S Class).
What’s the average annual maintenance cost on a wagon like this? I’ve got stock S and E classes, so I shutter to think what an AMG would run 😂😂😂
Beautiful.
Beautiful. I’ve got an 01’. Query, Katrina was in 2005, when was the vehicle first registered in Louisiana?
