Do you have the underbody cover?
Really lovely spec here. The 420 engines are my favorite and I was able to get almost 250k miles out of mine before I sold it a few years ago... definitely should've kept that car.

Hello and welcome to our auction! I acquired this car from New York. The car stayed in one family since new, simply passed on from family member to family member. I purchased it from the son. Once the son took possession of the car, he parked it in the garage and only drove it once every few weeks around the neighborhood. He was not a big enthusiast of the classics, so he decided to list it for sale. I had the car shipped to Michigan. Since the car had been mostly sitting for the past 10 years and barely driven, I decided to change the fluids and do a tune-up (spark plugs and wires, engine oil service with filter, coolant flush, brake fluid flush, and a four-wheel alignment). I also replaced the shifter bushings, fuel filter, and fuel pumps. This is a beautiful classic example, with almost no noticeable flaws. Showroom condition in my opinion. I collect a lot of classic Mercedes, and simply need to make room for more. Ideally, I would like to replace this car with a 300SD in similar condition with similar mileage. I've always liked the diesels more. I was actually searching for the diesel W126, but stumbled upon this 420SEL and couldn't pass it up due to the mileage and condition. I've had my fun with it for the few hundred miles I've driven it (weekend ice cream runs with my wife - LOL). Now, it's time for someone else to enjoy this car.
