🚨🚨 NO TARRIFS 🚨🚨 Easy import. Hello everyone. Thank you for tuning into my auction. Here we have a 1990 Mercedes Benz 500SL with some tasteful OEM+ modifications and extensive recent maintenance. I would like to address a few things about this beautiful 500SL that the auction write-up does mention briefly. Exhaust: As you guys know from the auction, this SL is equipped with a valved exhaust system. I’ve made a short YouTube video, however as you know, videos don’t pick up well. It is a big difference from closed and open valves. When you want to feel the 5.0L V8 *click. When you want to relax for a long highway cruise *click. It is amazing. Perfection with the AMG premerger tips. Engine: Although the extensive maintenance was done. The vehicle still does have a high idle. I believe it might be the intake plenum donuts that hardened over the years. Despite all this, the car is POWERFUL and revs throughout the rev-range beautifully. It is fast… Softtop: As the write up mentions, the roof hydraulic cylinders are in need of replacement. Alongside the actual softtop due to the rear softtop windows cracked. I can have both the cylinders rebuilt and the softtop replaced for roughly $3000 USD before the car heads to you. All OEM materials, the buyer can select the colour of softtop. I believe there is burgundy, beige, black, dark blue and bright red. All OEM materials German STAAYFAST. Paint imperfections: Yes, the vehicle does have paint imperfections. If you watch my walkaround video above, I do go over the paint imperfections and you can see them throughout the video, please do watch the video. Overall/conclusion This 1990 500 SL is a beautiful example of an R129. Although it may not be perfect, this is your perfect chance to own and potentially take to the next level. An early, reliable R129 M119 500SL. All the tasteful modifications are done. Don’t miss your chance! 🚨 ATTENTION ALL USA BIDDERS 🚨 Importing this car is extremely easy. I can handle most of it if wanted. THERE ARE ZERO TARIFFS INVOLVED. I am already in contact with “PCB CUSTOMS BROKER” unless you want to use someone else. Please don’t let the importation scare you, it will be the easiest process you will go through and I will be there every step of the way, you won’t have to do anything. The duties are only 2.5% of the vehicle price. I will be replying extensively throughout the auction. And I will do my best. Good luck and let’s get it started!
