This 2001 Mercedes-Benz S430 was reportedly sold new in March of 2001 by Fletcher Jones Motorcars and shows 2 total owners since new, both in California. The second and current owner bought the car in December of 2002 with 16,998 miles on the odometer and has kept service records in total since purchasing. Finished in Brilliant Silver (744) over Black Leather (261), this S430 features an OEM AMG Sport Package, heated front seats, factory COMAND, and an electric sunshade for the rear glass. Power comes from a 4.3-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. This W220 currently shows 72,186 miles and is offered with factory literature, an original tool kit, two remote key fobs, a clean Carfax, complete service records since 2002, and a clean California title.
Finished in Brilliant Silver (744), the paint and finish has been described as excellent condition with no blemishes reported on the body panels or ground effects. The AMG Sport kit includes AMG-style bumpers, side skirts, and staggered Sport wheels. The rear badging has been removed and now only shows the centered rear Mercedes-Benz emblem on the deck lid. Paint meter readings have been provided in the gallery.
The cabin is trimmed in Black Leather (261) accented by the original Burl Walnut wood trim on the center console, doors, and dashboard while the original floor mats have been retained and are currently kept in the trunk. Features include multi-contour and heated front seats, an electric sunroof and rear sunshade, and premium sound. The rear seats feature controls for the rear sunshade along with drop-down vanity mirrors and fold-out ash trays in the rear door cards. The car remains fully original and still retains the factory COMAND with navigation.
The digital odometer shows 72,186 original miles. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and a digital odometer with trip function. Additional gauges include fuel level, coolant temperature and a digital clock.

This has the potential to be stolen with where it's at right now. Last thing I need is another car but... wife is going to kill me
Always look for crusty oxidized headlights, cracked wood on the steering wheel, tired seat bolsters, curbed up wheels, and battle scars on the corners of bumpers. Seems to be the case with every W220 left today....except this one. Excellent example, GLWS!
I'm usually not a fan of debadging but this is just so clean. I'm not even mad.
@Frost Agreed! a well-spec'd 220 is a fantastic car. Too bad so many are in poor shape.
As a former owner of a W220, I honestly think it's the most comfortable car I've ever owned. I moved into a facelift W211 and while it's a good car, it's not nearly as comfortable as the 220 was.

Does this car have any California specific controls or electronics (emissions)?
@Hoosiertown ... Don't mind if I do!

This thing is way to clean not to bid.

Wow! Cleanest W220 I've seen in a very long time.
