The exterior is finished in Obsidian Black (197) and features AMG body styling including a sculpted front bumper, side skirts and rear apron. Exterior equipment includes a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, Xenon headlamps, headlamp washers and power adjustable door mirrors. The seller notes that the car has previously received paintwork including a resprayed roof due to a scratch during transport as well as paint and bodywork on the passenger side fender. Clear coat failure along the top strip of the rear bumper can be seen. The Carfax report shows two collisions occurring in 2013 and 2016, both are listed as having minor damage and neither having airbags deployed. Rust bubbles next to the sunroof and the B-pillar covers have been documented by the seller along with various paint imperfections in the photo gallery.
18” AMG Monoblock wheels wear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 245/40 front and 275/35 rear. The seller notes that the tires have become flat spotted and the rears have little tread remaining. The front shocks may need to be replaced soon as they are the original units. The seller installed new center caps on the wheels as of October 2022. A spare tire can be found mounted in the trunk.
The cabin comes upholstered in Black Premium Leather (521) and features matching black carpets with black floor mats wearing E55 AMG embroidery. Bird’s Eye Maple wood trim accents the center console, dashboard and door panels and presents in good condition with no signs of cracking. Both front seats are heated and offer multicontour adjustment as well as three-position memory. Interior amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8 speaker Bose audio system with CD changer and aux input, COMAND with navigation, a power rear sunshade and the original Motorola Timeport integrated car phone. This W210 sedan is powered by an AMG-built 5.4-liter M113 V8 which outputs 349 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed 722.6 automatic transmission. Recent maintenance in October 2022 included a fuel system flush and filter, new battery, valve cover gaskets, PCV hoses, a Mobil 1 oil and filter change, vacuum lines, intake and throttle gaskets and new cowl screens.

The Carfax report shows first registration in Arizona before moving to Florida with the current owner. Linear mileage updates are reported from new. The Carfax also shows both aforementioned accidents occurring in 2013 and 2016. This E55 AMG is now offered for sale by the current owner in Miami, Florida with 12 years of service records, the original manufacturer’s literature and a clean Florida title.
An interior walk-through and functionality tour is viewbale below.
Following the success of the introduction of V8 engines to the E-Class lineup with the W124 and the new partnership with AMG, Mercedes offered the E55 AMG including more aggressive body styling, AMG Monoblock wheels and of course, an AMG V8. Often overshadowed by the supercharged W211, the naturally aspirated 5.4-liter M113 outputs an impressive 349 horsepower and reaches nearly 400 lb-ft of torque. Motor Trend was able to achieve a 0 to 60 time of under 5 seconds. Being the last AMG assembled in Affalterbach, the W210 E55 is receiving more and more attention and quickly becoming a modern classic. This example has been well cared for over the past 12 years and given the reliability of its drivetrain, should provide many more thousands of fast-paced miles.

@Iamkhan If you wait until "checking for final bids" with each time you try to place a bid, you're likely to miss out on it due to timing issues with your connection, your processing speed, the server and other various factors at play. Waiting until the after the clock ends to put in a bid creates this foreseeable outcome. We recommend not waiting until after the clock hits zero to place your bid in the future. Thank you.
I offer 9k but for some reason didn’t update. Congratulations @VCholagh

@Smcase22 The very first W210 E55 I owned (about 8 years ago now) had this same clear coat failure on the top strip of the rear bumper. It was also Black 040. I was able to have that resprayed easily and it wasn't expensive either. A good compound and buff may bring it back without needing paint too. And I agree, these are among the best cars ever built and I still drive one daily today!
@Smcase22 The clear coat has issues on the top of the rear bumper cover. The paint is still good underneath. The deck lid has issues with the clear coat also. Again, the paint underneath is still good.
What is going on with the rear bumper cover? Is that oxidation? Cant say I have ever seen that before. E55 is one of the best Merc.'s every made. Driving one is just a dream My buddy has one I owned that is over 200k miles and just keeps pugging away. GWS!
Are there any additional questions that I can answer.

@ryanr317 None of the interior wood trim has not been changed since I have owned the car January 2011.
Has the interior wood trim ever been changed? In some photos it looks like birdseye maple and in others, it's darker like a black birdseye maple? Perhaps it is the lighting in the pictures?
@ryanr317 Thank you. If you have any specific questions, I will be glad to answer.
@E55Spaceship Thank you
@cudaized Great. Car is presented very well.
Beautiful car. I sold my 2002 E55 when I left the country in 2010... I still regret not shipping it and keeping it. Good luck to those bidding.

CARFAX Damage reports 10-24-2013 The rear bumper cover was gently hit by my wife backing her car out of the our driveway. Partially dislodged, the original bumper cover was removed, inspected, and reinstalled. Some minor scratch buffed out on the original bumper cover. 05-20-2016 The worst damage that I had on this E55. A low energy, 5 MPH or less collision with another car in the school child pick up line. The right fender had a dent just forward and above the wheel opening. Local body shop removed the dent, painted, and reinstalled the factory fender.
@E430sport No. It does not have air suspension. It has the original factory coil springs.
@ryanr317 Yes. There are some older pictures included in the auction. I apologize. I am not trying to deceive anyone. I am working with the web master and will edit the photos. EDIT: The webmaster has removed any older photo and uploaded many recent pictures that I took today. January 28, 2023
@Bert Thank you. If you have any specific question about anything, I would be happy to answer. Most of the factory original parts that I replaced due to needed service or preventative maintenance have been saved in the large plastic container.
Does this have air suspension and if so is it operating as intended?

Are some of the interior pictures (and perhaps others) from 48k miles ago? I see one of the pictures shows around 80k miles.
wow, very interesting record-keeping!
