Newer OEM staggered 18” Mercedes-Benz double-spoke alloy wheels are fitted with Continental ControlContact Sport tires measuring 245/40 up front and 265/35 in the rear. Braking is handled by eight and four piston AMG calipers which are painted silver with black AMG lettering. The AMG-tuned Airmatic Dual Control air suspension provides adjustable ride height and stiffness. Service within the last month includes new front air shocks, new front and lower control arms, tie rods, and ball joints.
The AMG-design front seats are upholstered in Charcoal Nappa Leather (251) with matching black AMG floor mats and Black Bird’s Eye Maple wood trim which lines the center console, dash and door panels. Hairline cracks are seen on the wood trim on the ash tray cover and cup holder cover. Both front seats are heated with multicontour adjustment and position memory. Additional amenities include a power tilt/telescope steering column, a power rear sunshade, four-zone automatic climate control and a 12-speaker Harman/Kardon Logic7 surround sound system. The seller notes the alcantara headliner is sagging in the rear.
The AMG multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer with a central digital display along with a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and digital gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer currently shows just under 70k miles from new.
The hand-built supercharged M113K 5.4-liter V8 is factory rated for 469 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG-enhanced 722.6 five-speed automatic transmission. Recent maintenance includes new engine mounts, a new power steering pump, a new coolant reservoir and coolant flush, and a replacement OEM supercharger. The original supercharger magnet failed and the entire unit was replaced with a refurbished supercharger which included new gaskets. Receipts are provided in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows Illinois registration from new with linear mileage updates. A total of 35 service history records are shown with no accidents or damage reports appearing on the Carfax.
