This 2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK320 Sport was sold new by Mercedes-Benz of Huntington, New York and shows two owners with 50k miles from new. FInished in Pewter Metallic (723) over Charcoal/Sienna Beige Leather (215), power is provided by a 3.2-liter V6 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Factory equipment includes a power hardtop with a mesh wind deflector, a Sport Package with AMG wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer and a 6-speaker Bose audio system. Maintenance performed by the current owner includes a new set of Continental tires and an engine oil change. This SLK320 Sport is now offered for sale by the current owner with both keys, the original manufacturer’s literature, the original window sticker, a clean two-owner Carfax report and a clean Michigan title.
The exterior is finished in Pewter Metallic (723) and features a Sport Package including a sculpted front air dam with mesh intakes, sculpted side skirts and a sculpted rear bumper. The steel hardtop is fully power operated and includes a heated rear window and a removable draft deflector. Exterior features include a heated windshield washer, front fog lamps, heated and power-adjustable door mirrors, remote central locking and an integrated garage door opener. Minor paint chips and scratches have been documented by the seller along with two chips in the windshield. The seller reports that the body is free of corrosion.
The 17” AMG ultrathin-spoke monoblock wheels were recently fitted with a new set of Continental Control Contact Sport SRS+ tires in August 2022 which measure 225/45 front and 245/40 rear. 2022 date codes are visible on the tires with no signs of curb rash or corrosion present on the wheels. A spare tire can be found mounted below the trunk floor.
The cabin is upholstered in Two-Tone Charcoal/Sienna Beige Leather (215) with matching floor mats and Calyptus wood trim which lines the center console and steering wheel. Both front seats are heated and offer 8-way power adjustability. Interior amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, aluminum door sills, a trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer and a 6-speaker Bose audio system. The seller reports that there is an intermittent SRS light caused by a loose connection on the passenger-side sensor. A new OEM sensor pad is included with the sale.
The wood/leather steering wheel frames white dials with a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Digital instrumentation consists of an outside temperature sensor, a digital clock, a trip meter and a digital odometer which currently shows just below 50k miles.
This hardtop roadster is powered by a 3.2-Liter M112 V6 which is factory rated for 215 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. An engine oil and oil filter change was recently performed by the seller at 49k miles. Underbody photos provided by the seller show limited signs of surface rust.
The Carfax report shows first registration in New York where it stayed with the original owner through 2022 when it was acquired by the seller. Linear mileage updates are shown along with regular service visits with no accidents or damage reports present. This SLK320 Sport is now offered for sale by the current owner in Saugatuck, Michigan with the original manufacturer’s literature, both keys, the original window sticker, a clean Carfax report and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.
Cold start, driving and top operation videos have been provided by the seller below.
At the peak of the 90's roadster movement, Mercedes-Benz made a strong statement with the first generation SLK. By comparison to the SL (R129 at the time), the SLK was nimble, light on its feet, and loved living high in the revs. The throaty M112 sounded great at peak power and encouraged more throttle the harder the SLK was pushed through corners. In combination with the venerable 722.6 transmission, the powertrain has proven itself to be exceptionally reliable ensuring a worry-free ownership experience. Showing low mileage with a clean two-owner Carfax, this well-loved roadster will end up providing years of drop-top delight for its next enthusiast owner.

Hard to believe this is a 20 year old car that was $53K when new. Doors still close with a thunk. Drives as tight as a new MB. And if you're bald like me, your head can burn to the same shade of bronze as it can in a new $130K SL, for a fraction of the cost....

Never know how to guess the reserve; dampens the auction gambling spirit .
Final few hours. Please remember to refresh and make sure you are logged in (he said after learning the hard way as a bidder...)

@zag65 no worries. Thanks for the interest!
@tcstraker I see now, my bad! Thanks for the quick response!
@zag65 I’m not sure what you mean. Automatic transmission is listed as an option on sticker and is visible in the photo of the sticker.
Slightly perplexed as to why the original window sticker states car is a manual but vehicle is clearly an automatic by the photos.

Welcome to the auction of my sweet little SLK320. I’ve owned the car since Summer 2022. The Pewter over two tone Sienna beige/charcoal is really unique, and very handsome. It was a one owner car from new prior to my purchase, never in salt, no corrosion, and well maintained. I’m selling to make room for another in my collection. It’s in heated/cooled storage and not driven in foul weather. Under my care, I’ve done the following: Oil change/service Added four new continental tires (2022 date codes) Full inspection, including top hydraulics Repaired faulty brake light switch New OEM floormats Repaired SRS light that goes on and off intermittently (there seems to be a faulty connection in the grid under the seat bottom…I didn’t want to risk taking upholstery off to repair, but I did purchase a new sensor that comes with car should you chose to repair it) Everything on the car works. Air blows ice cold. Radio, top, seats, electronics….all work perfectly Known flaws: Stone chips, a few small dings and scrapes from 20 years of use (noted with my finger in photos) All paint is original except drivers door. Previous owner said it was dinged in a parking lot with shopping cart and was repainted. Driver fog light mesh is loose. Center console paint chipping (typical of these models…can be painted/refreshed) and some wear on driver seat bottom cushion. All original glass, but windshield has two small chips there were there when I bought the car, and I've had both spots professionally repaired to prevent spreading. Car comes with all books, receipts, two keys, original floormats, original window sticker, new SRS sensor for passenger seat, and original materials from Mercedes-Benz of Huntington NY. It’s a fast, reliable little SLK. I can’t say enough good about these cars, and this car in particular. It still smells like a leather-clad Mercedes. Will be here to answer questions throughout the auction.
