This 2007 Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG 6x6 Conversion was initially sold by Mercedes-Benz of South Bay in Torrance, California. In August 2020, this G55 AMG was exported to Europe to be modified for the 6x6 conversions. The G55 was shipped back to the United States in 2021 with modifications completed. The 6x6 conversion consists of three functional locking differentials, portal axles, revised suspension, chassis modifications, and OEM Mercedes-Benz body panels, parts, and wheels. The truck is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (9775) over a custom Black Leather interior showing red deviated and diamond stitching throughout the cabin. Power is provided by the original supercharged M113k AMG-built V8 tuned with a five-speed transmission driving all six wheels. The modifications list for this G is extensive and in addition to the 6x6 conversion includes a facelift front end conversion and much more. This 6x6 is now offered by the current owner with 106k miles on the original odometer, recent service records, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
This 6x6 is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (9775) from the factory and shows OEM body panels for the 6x6 conversion including quarter panels, bed panels, bed flooring, roll bars, and wider carbon fiber fenders. A front end conversion has been installed in the style of the W463A G63 and features an updated grille, headlamps, and bumper. Carbon fiber snorkels have been installed on either side of the front fenders and a carbon fiber hood cowl installed on the stock hood. AMG-stamped side exit exhaust is shown and the bed features wood paneling on the floor, sides, and tailgate. Detailed photos of the exterior can be seen in the gallery.
This 6x6 wears 18” OEM-style wheels featuring matte black paint and a red accent ring. Tires shown are Federal Couragia M/T’s measuring 37x12.5 with a matching spare wheel and tire mounted in the bed of the truck. Braking is handled by slotted steel rotors tucked behind all six wheels.
The cabin is upholstered in Black Leather interior showing red deviated and diamond stitching across the seats, door cards, and dashboard. Carbon Fiber trim adorns the center console and shift knob while the original Burl Walnut and leather heated steering wheel remains in place. Additional features and appointments include an alcantara headliner, heated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a heated front windscreen, and aluminum pedals. The seats show Brabus plaques mounted to the leather seatback and feature multi-contour functions controlled by OEM switchgear.
The multifunction AMG steering wheel frames an analog display with defaults for a 160 mph speedometer, an 7k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for various trip functions and settings. Additional displays include navigation, multimedia, phone connectivity, and performance readouts. The digital odometer indicates just under 106k miles.
The supercharged M113k AMG-built V8 has reportedly been tuned to produce 600 horsepower and more than 630 lb-ft of torque with a five-speed transmission driving all six wheels. Locking differentials are shown at each portal axle and a dual-speed transfer case is electronically shiftable via buttons in the cabin. Recent service within the last month include a complete fluid flush including engine oil, portal oil, axle grease and oil, coolant, transmission, and brakes. Additionally new spark plugs were installed along with new air filters and a power steering pump.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists a four-owner history since new. This G55 6x6 is now offered by the current owner with 106k miles on the original odometer, recent service records, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
A video walk-around has been provided by the seller below.
Remember the slew of modified G Wagens we’ve sold over the last few months? Forget everything you thought you knew about modified G’s and focus on the fact that dedication can yield amazing results when you start out with a platform as good as the M113K-powered G55 AMG. With a two-way ticket across the atlantic, an open checkbook, and ample patience, that same G55 can be transformed into a complete go-anywhere, do-anything six-wheel-drive monster for the streets. While this G is surely an acquired taste to own, it’s fair to say we can all appreciate the work and detail from Brabus that went into creating this one-off example and although some parking lots might be a struggle, the path will get easier the further the driver gets from parking lots and drive-through lines.

Are you sure the rear axle is functional? Looks like a dummy driveshaft that’s attached to the top of the middle axle.
