The sexy, sweeping silhouette of this C216 pillarless coupe remains one of the most-loved modern models providing performance, power and precision. The luxurious cabin still energizes enthusiasts as much as anything on showroom floors today. As many enthusiasts and automotive journalists have noted of late, the similar facelifted, low-mile, well-kept W221 S-Class sedans appear to be primely placed in the sweet spot of depreciation, relevant useable tech, performance and reliability. Thereto, it follows, that its door-deprived brethren – the C216 – provides all the same Hegelian desirability while making your heart flutter at its façade, and delivering a dopamine drip under your right foot. To quoth the Scorsesean bard: “Buy this thing and you’ll be upper-class by about Tuesday…”

One of the most comfortable cars ever built. Mercedes got it right with this big body coupe and it's clear to see the lineage in design from the legendary C126.

The OEM+ wheels look really good on this body. And of course it has the best tires, nothing better than some fresh Pilot Sports!

@Armenian It's the original windshield. The Daimler Benz decal is there. file:///var/folders/kg/jdlzxwb52ps6768nwr951cwc0000gn/T/com.apple.Safari/WebKitDropDestination-Mt34qbfW/IMG_2548.JPG
Is that the original windscreen? or has it been replaced with an aftermarket windshield? I didn't see the Daimler/Benz sticker on passenger side.

This is one of those designs that I was very unsure of when they first came out but man they have aged so well! The flared fenders and bold lines set these apart on the road although I rarely ever see one, especially a clean one.
