This 2009 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG was originally delivered to Park Place Motorcars in Jacksonville, FL and purchased by the first owner in Texas where it remained until relocating to Connecticut in 2015. Finished in Black (040) over Anthracite (851) leather, this example is reportedly one of only 431 produced for the 2009 model year. It now shows just over 130k miles and is powered by a 6.2-liter M156 V8 paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. Factory equipment includes Parktronic, a panorama sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, rear door sun blinds, rear-roller blind, COMAND with navigation, bi-xenon headlamps, cornering fog lamps and Keyless-Go. Service within the last two years includes new brake pads, new front air struts and ball joints, new heater control valve, oil and filter changes, and new tires. This E63 AMG is now offered by the seller in Connecticut with the original window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, 2 keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title.

This example is finished in Black (040) paintwork and includes AMG-specific bodywork including a sculpted front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and quad exhaust outlets. Additional features include a panorama glass sunroof, bi-xenon headlights, rear lip spoiler, and flat hood badge. The seller notes rock chips along the front bumper and hood. All paint is believed to be original as supported by the clean Carfax report.

AMG-specific 18″ wheels were professionally refinished in 2020 and are mounted with a set of new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires measuring 245/40 up front and 265/35 in the rear with 2021/2020 date codes. The front air struts and ball joints were replaced by the seller last year and the car received new brake pads in 2020.

The Alcantara-trimmed front seats are heated and ventilated, and additional interior appointments include multi-zone automatic climate control, power windows/mirrors/locks, COMAND with navigation, Keyless-Go, rear door sun blinds, and an electric rear roller blind. Bird’s eye maple wood trim adorns the center console, dashboard, and doors. Normal bolster wear is visible on the driver’s seat and the seller notes that the sunroof hesitates when sliding but the tilt function works as designed.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames AMG-specific instrumentation featuring a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, a multi-function display, and digital readouts for coolant temperature and fuel level. AMG-exclusive red accents can be seen on the clock and tachometer. The digital odometer shows just over 130k miles, approximately 7k of which have been added by the seller.

The naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8 developed 507 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 465 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm from the factory. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed shiftable automatic transmission. The seller reports the car has received regular oil changes and performs with no issues.

The provided Carfax report lists no accidents or damage and registration history in Texas and Connecticut since new. This E63 AMG is now offered with the original window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, 2 keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title.

The W211 has been a favorite of enthusiasts for many years now and often hailed as the perfect size, and the perfect amount of tech vs. tradition. With the quad-headlight setup, these cars harken back to Sacco-era styling days when Mercedes were built to be the best and, as evidenced by the number of W211s still on the road, they towed the reliability line as well. The AMG variants from 2005-2009 were really the peak of W211 enthusiast enjoyment and this example, being a final model year example, brings together the best of the W211 AMG variants of the era. This naturally-aspirated monster could serve as a daily driver or enthusiast toy for anyone wise enough to plunk down dollars while these are still surprisingly affordable. The W211 E63 holds true to the recipe that made AMG great in the first place. Put a big naturally aspirated V8 into a hotrod sedan but without compromising comfort while still enhancing the style. To put it simply, the W211 E63 AMG is a fantastic machine.

I owned an M156 AMG.  Like an IMS bearing in a Porsche, plan to do the headbolts for peace of mind.  Worth it, especially for a beauty like this.

@WayJayMane The cars that had the headbolt issues had issues around 60-80k miles max. If there's one over 100k miles then it's good whether they were done or not. I've yet to hear of any failures past 80k miles.

Beautiful vehicle, they don’t make ‘em like this anymore. Has the M156 head bolt issue been addressed? Inspections for any of the other common M156 issues (lifters, camshafts, camshaft adjusters, etc.)?

I can’t remember if The MB Market does this but is it possible to to get videos of a cold start, idle and cruise at operating temperature?
