The variations on awfulness that have transgressed these past few fraught years need not be rehashed here...but one sin that has, perhaps, been overlooked by outsiders (i.e., non-AMG die hards) is the discontinuation of the Mercedes-Benz V-8 engine for 2022 (and likely, perhaps, beyond) as applied to everything except the top flagship S-Class models and SUVs.
Translated: that means no AMG E63S models (or anything junior) for the coming year(s) and perhaps permanently thereafter or for quite some time.
Solution? Buy the best-looking and best-performing iteration of the lust-worthy AMG E63S wagon in the right color combination here, today, and laugh at the pious fools who await its return sometime in 2030-ish when all cars run on bitcoin and can only be raced on the metaverse circuit.
In all seriousness, this car ACTUALLY does it all. The ideal one car garage can accept nothing less than a vehicle of this caliber as it will melt a 911 turbo on the ring or the strip, can haul whatever (and/or whomever) you need hauled, traverse difficult climate-crisis induced terrains with selectable AWD, and look simply fantastic doing so; as you effortlessly enjoy your creature comforts such as Apple Carplay distronic radar-cruise control and notably, the remaining factory Mercedes-Benz warranty as you crest 130mph on some unnamed highway with a wagon full of melting groceries (and tires).
In fact, we should ask the seller how he acquired his recent traumatic head injury because he’s selling what appears to be - from our vantage - THE perfect vehicle. To wit: Shame on him and kudos to you buyers because this is the ONE – especially if you live on the east coast where these are but the product of toothed hens. Buy now or forever hold your peace (and your tongue) because they literally aren’t making them like this anymore. And certainly not in this excellently appropriate spec. The one wagon to rule them all is here and it’s primed to leave the station in under 3.2 seconds so click fast, friends....
