GASMotorcars bid $76,000

@boostin does the EQ still work? Would love a video showing all the interior features working if you can.
@EndriSBC was previously addressed, thanks. Headliners will tend to fall related to age and climate vs mileage and use. the AIRMATIC is in good shape and while the car's been stored with us for the last few weeks, it hasn't been leaning or listing on one side or the other.
@hbesmarThe discoloration is what it is at this point. We suspect perhaps a lotion or cosmetic but cannot be certain. It looks like you also just sent us a private message but considering the comment as well, we'll answer here. The headliner is showing some drooping in the rear as noted in the photos. @daman thanks for asking on the services- given low mileage, some cars hate not being driven and some service shops/dealers will recommend going overboard to compensate. No story on it unfortunately beyond the speculative. Please let us know if we can answer anything else.
@gbunitskythanks for the questions- the discoloration could be fixed with a re-dye on the wheel/leather surface and we'd be happy to facilitate- wanted to leave it original for people to see true condition. No suspension work per records and re the recall, the next owner will have to show registration to have it completed. We'd also be happy to facilitate for the new buyer once that's done.
@AndrewgarbanEven 3 months ago probably right but the market's adjusting fast on these. Properly good looking G, looks at home with that backdrop!
Morning everyone, let us know if we can help with any lingering questions today. We're looking forward to seeing this CDI go to a good home!
@MSerpeUnderside photos have been uploaded. Re the recall, thanks for that info. They have not addressed BUT we'll make the appointment with our dealer here in Atlanta before the next owner takes delivery if the winning bidder desires.
Good afternoon all, We've had a lot of phone calls on the car and have uploaded a lengthy video showing all the details we can think of. A few questions that have come up a couple times: -Full fluid flush was completely wet to dry and back. (transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, radiator fluid, and rear differential) -Underside photos will come tomorrow during the day. The previous auction here should also show that for those interested. -the brake recall was performed by MB Hilton Head in the last year For reference, the most recent services include new batteries, fuel filters, and the flush. Between the previous owner (who most here know ;) ) and the current, this car's seen multiple enthusiast owners and we encourage anyone interested to call us or message us with questions.
@Pizdets4uWell bid and congrats! We'll be in touch shortly. Thanks to all for making this a fun and successful auction!
@Static50 Only because you asked us to....THE RESERVE IS OFF
@MercedesDadWe happen to agree!
Was that a TKO??
@Smcase22While it may be too late to settle on a trade number, we're absolutely happy to help with it either as a trade or consignment. Even if you don't win the auction, we're happy to help but we'd prefer to see this car go to a good home ;)
As we approach the final hour of the auction we want to thank everyone for the messages and those who took time to see the S65 in person. As striking as the car come across in photos, it's just as impressive and sharp in person. We're around for any last minute questions. Otherwise, we hope we see this one-off example go to a good home that will appreciate it as much as the last.
Thanks to all of you for the strong opening bids so far. we've uploaded photos of the collection of records. Every record included is from the original selling dealer in VA. the mounts are original and the ABC has been serviced- the car received multiple check ups from at the dealer every year. We did notice the coils had not been replaced so we've taken the liberty of addressing that before the auction ends.
Good morning all and welcome to our S65 AMG auction. This one comes to us from a long-time client who notably cherished and pampered his cars. We'll be getting videos uploaded within the next day so if there's something specific on your list to be seen, let us know. ADDITIONALLY, we are uploading photos of the service records kept with this car which means every single record since new and ALL were performed by the selling dealer. We're excited to represent this massively rare S65 AMG and look forward to helping it find a new home.
Anyone bidding on this example won't be disappointed- hoping we can send it to a good home after this.
Good day all and thanks for watching the sedan over the last week. While the comments have been quiet, there have been a lot of good questions via DM and phone. We've shown the car a couple times as well and hope those showing spoke for themselves. Let us know if there are lingering questions in the final hours or if the videos didn't show something. Good luck to all!
Well bid and well bought with the TKO @williewilz973 - we'll be in touch!
Good morning all, thanks for the good comments and love for this 280SE thus far. As we get into the final day of bidding, let us know if there are lingering questions. We can't reinforce enough how great a driver this car is and how confident we are in the joy this will bring from behind the wheel. Best of luck to all!
Good morning everyone, thanks for your patience. We wanted to check with our team to make sure we had the right answer for the cable question re photo 101. We did have the speedo repaired prior to the auction running and the underside photos were taken simultaneously. There was a question we received regarding heater levels and ventilation. We've tested everything and it works well. Videos still coming. Thanks!
Good morning all, thank you for taking the time to check out this cool W108. While she appears lovingly worn, this is one of the best driving classics we've encountered in the last couple years. It's evident by looking at the records but more so from the driver's seat. We aim to have videos up within a day's time and look forward to good discussion around this one. It's important to note we are located just outside Atlanta and are happy to show the car by appointment within business hours. Best of luck to all bidding!
@sasdweFair question- that's on us. We were submitting as though it was a 3 speed. Confirmed it's a 4-speed car and can get transmission number photo for confirmation. Will also get with the powers here and have that adjusted. Thanks!
Congrats @T8KFVE We'll be in touch shortly!
@VirafpSpoke with the original broker (who knew the first owner) in addition to the current. No records on it for the hydraulics and while the front are believed to have been done, the rest aren't noted. For safety sake let's assume not. If the future owner wants us to help arrange, we can help schedule and ensure it's performed for an additional cost to the buyer.
@ArtVandelay0 Upon an independent inspection they (front) appeared replaced but otherwise no records as we mentioned below.
and that being noted, today is the last day of the auction- we're excited to see where this one ends up. As an ADS and Xenon optioned example that was driven only in warm months, it's one of the icest R129's we've seen in years. Bid with confidence and let us know if there are lingering questions .
@VirafpThanks, we're proud of the records with this one. You're right, there's no mention of the top hydraulics so we're assuming not. Maybe there's a pleasant surprise there but no way of telling. We've had the hardtop on and off a few times under our care and it's a flawless operation. Cooling system all good- stays under 90 in Atlanta heat.
@VirafpAC along with climate control unit is perfectly operational w/o pixel fade. We'll see if we can address that slight separation- likely a little adhesive should do the trick.
@ArtVandelay0Standard MO for our client. He buys extremely clean examples of cars he likes, keeps them for six months, and asks us to help sell. For those curious, the 07 E63 wagon last year and the 9k mile E55 last year were from the same collector. Should give an idea of cleanliness and particularity.
Good morning all and thanks for your patience. We're back from several days at Amelia and videos have been uploaded showing top operation, interior and exterior views, a start-up, and driving functions. We can take photos of the soft top as well today. This is a good chance to discuss the cars history a little, prior to our clients acquisition this car belonged to a telecom executive in the Northeast (ordered and bought it new). It was driven in good weather and maintained/serviced as necessary without compromise. Both owners have kept a decent collection of cars, most of which include classic and young classic MB's. Complete documentation is included and this should be regarded as a complete example. Thanks everyone!
Morning all, paint meter photos have been added along with photos of the emissions sticker and undersides. the car is extremely clean top to bottom. Its been riaing here for the last fews but videos will be uploaded later today.
@VirafpThank you for the compliments. We'll work on videos over the next day, additional photos re the emissions sticker, and undersides. Everything on the car functions as intended including convenience functions and ADS. Thanks!
@Tank24Completely agree! Most 30k cars don't offer this level of comfort, convenience, and performance in one....Plus, when's the next time you'll see another at a red light?
Afternoon everyone- In the process of dodging rain drops in Georgia we managed to get a driving video and cold start. Thanks to all for the bids!
Good morning all, thanks for the good comments and messages so far. In the interest of building the service history for this car we wanted to highlight some services for everyone. Regrading ABC, valve blocks, accumulators, and several lines were replaced in 2017. The rear shocks appear to be replacements but an exact replacement date isn't clear. The front seem to be original with blocks and accumulators being new. In 2018 the car received a complete transmission rebuild and engine rear main seal. Since 2017 more than 10k in service and maintenance is accounted for and shows in the way this car performs. As we near the end of the auction today, let us know if there are details anyone would like to see.
Well bid and bought @CarAndDriver- we'll be in touch shortly. Thanks to ALL who made this auction successful and enjoyable.
@mbmikemaNo lighting, just an audible beep in reverse. Thanks!
@mbmikemaon the rear bumper where stock would be.
Thanks all for the good questions and compliments on this E55. We're available for the next 40 minutes if anyone has any lingering questions. Good luck to al!
@DchesrownGood questions. No, we don't have any additional fees. Re a warranty, we don't have additional coverage available due to the age of the car. Thanks
@OnTheHuntThanks for asking. The glass up front is a Pilkington unit in blue tint. The solar panel does function and the roof operates as intended. Regarding the current owners reasons for selling, we'd be happy to discuss via PM or call. Thanks!
Thanks for taking a look at this 2004 E55 AMG, we're pleased to have the opportunity to offer this example. Notable rare features include the Tectite paint, solar roof, and push-button start. Additionally, this example remains adult-owned and cared for with little to no wear inside or out. As the auction continues, we'll get some videos up once the rain passes in Georgia. Please let us know if there are questions along the way.
Good morning all and welcome to the last day of the auction. We've had a few questions come in privately we want to address: 1. We do not charge any additional dealer fees. 2. We're happy to help organize logistics within the lower 48 states. 3. There are in fact two keys and the original window sticker We're available to answer questions today as needed, good luck to all!
@rlnealSend us a direct message and we can schedule a time for you to come out!
@E350maniaThere are no liens on the title, it's free and clear. While we don't handle out of state paperwork, we do provide everyone with a 45-day temporary tag and registration. The title will be provided with a reassignment form you can take to your local DMV for reg and titling. Thanks!
@MBDanThanks! We're proud to represent this one. No smells at all in this ML- seriously smells like any other ML55/period correct AMG. As far as records show the panels are all original but noticeable panel gap on these ML55's is common and somewhat expected at this point. Installing the hitch may have meant the bumper would have had to come off at some point in it's life. Average gaps for what we've seen related to other ML55 and ML430 sport examples. Hope this helps!
@AutoAvids313Good question in the video. That creaking is mostly due to the rear tire cover not being latched correctly. That came up as a question from another user as well. Rest assured it's a quiet drive. Pickup from ATL could be arranged depending on schedule.
This might be one of the most attractive seat patterns we've run across.
@BlueDevilBillThis is the owner's 2nd ML55 and third w163. Parts were amassed over years of ownership as spares or stumbled-upon additions. No immediate repairs are needed. The spare COMAND came with the ML after the original was taken out. The owner had the original rebuilt by Becker for bluetooth so the spare is now included. The headlamps were from another ML55 that was previously upgraded and are just a nice added bonus. The AMG shift knob is actually a pretty rare item that's included as an added bonus and the other spares are just spares. We know that's a long answer, hope it helps!
Good morning, we received a question about window tint and wanted to mention the windows are tinted with Llumar ceramic film on both sides and the windshield has clear Llumar ceramic for heat and UV blocking.
All, welcome to our ML55 AMG listing. Don't let the mileage turn you away, this ML feels as solid as ever and is completely up-to-date on maintenance and service. The owner of this ML55 is a long-time enthusiast and this isn't their first W163. Please let us know if there are questions over the next week- we look forward to fielding them all. @zoccierampqt message us directly and we'll be happy to set something up. Happy bidding to all and good luck!
@NYCdriverSpot on! (For an extra $6,500) It's worth the Manukaktur paints all day!
Good morning all and welcome to our Stronger Than Time G63 auction! We're proud to offer this very low mileage G in what might be our favorite color combination yet. Hopefully the photos capture the Midnight Blue paint but for those wondering it's VERY true to the classic paint code and really stands out. Let us know if there are questions along the way or details you'd like to see and we'll be more than happy to help. Best of luck to all and happy bidding!
Welcome all to our striking Chine Blue G63 auction. We're pleased to help bring this G63 to market and will be available throughout the auction to answer questions as needed. A lot of time and consideration has gone into this build and the attention to detail is evident in every corner and crevice. Best of luck to all, we're excited to see where this G ends up finding its next home!
All, Happy Fourth. We've added a couple driving videos showing normal driving functions and an acceleration video. We've had requests over the weekend for some underside photos which we'll be taking tomorrow morning and posting. Other questions have mentioned records from Kleemann (which we don't have). thanks to all for the positive feedback so far.
Beautiful photos! These are starting to age nicely.
Everyone, welcome to our C32 AMG auction. This car comes to us from a known local enthusiast and amateur collector. This car is in great shape inside and out but the interior deserves special attention- not sure we've seen a C32 interior this well preserved. Power delivery is solid and definitely stout by stock comparison and we've logged about 60 miles since having it in stock. Please let us know if there are questions along the way. We're excited to help another cool and rare MB find a good home!
@EnginesEugenioSpot on and thanks for the help!
Well bought and well bid @mtbemail - we'll be in touch!
@mtbemail a large increase in bid generally does the trick ;)
@Jim_RosenthalBuy it anyway and worry about space after
@MDdrivenMorning and yes everything works as it should. We just took and uploaded a video this morning. Should be available here shortly.
@PrestcarsThe LSD is a donor from a Euro market Mercedes.
Thanks to all who have commented, called in, and DM'd us over the Kleemann. @Venemike apologies for leaving you hanging here. We've had some call-ins asking questions about the car but don't want your question to go unanswered. As far as we know/can tell this car hasn't been in any accidents. Underside photos have been uploaded to the gallery showing details and it's equally as nice underneath. We've also had questions regarding cats for CA smog. It seems all cats are still intact and just the resonator was deleted. Thanks to all, we're available today as needed for last-minute questions.
Morning all, we've uploaded underbody shots and some documentation notes. This car comes with parts receipts, some work records, and it's own diary kept by the owner making notes on all activity as needed.
All, welcome to this 280SE 4.5 auction! We're selling on behalf of one of our very good clients who has lovingly refurbished this example to be a reliable driver. Records and photos have been kept and documented along the way to tell the story. Please let us know if there are questions along the way, those local to Atlanta (or those willing to travel) are welcome to set up appointments to see it in person. Bid with confidence!
Morning all, our driving video has been uploaded to the listing - please let us know if there are other questions. @dan01wilson All the power features work well, thanks!
@ArmenianThank you for your patience (and enthusiasm) for the car. No internal modification was performed- just rebuilding and refurbishing to factory specs internally. We have nice weather today, we'll be taking some videos.
The owner has been working diligently to track down any records and we're happy to announce he has found some with the previous owner including the original window sticker. While we would have liked to have this earlier for the auction, we're very pleased to have them in hand.
@503Motoringand everyone else, thank you for your patience with us. We got in and around the rear quarter and door jambs on the wagon and can't see much evidence of previous paintwork. Going by the meter, we're still inclined to think it was painted but whoever painted it went about the work the right way and didn't cut corners. Take a look and let us know your thoughts, the photos have been added to the gallery.
@503MotoringInteresting, we don't typically pull Autocheck- thanks for pointing out. There's no discernable sign of repair in the right quarter. We were actually surprised to see the meter reading difference. The headliner is primarily drooping in the opposite side. We'll do some digging and see what we can find.
Morning all, we've been working with the owner and we're happy to announce that this car, if sold, will receive updated head bolts before it's delivered to the buyer. We hope that generates some excitement. Thanks to all who have reached out so far!
Today we were able to upload underside photos and paint readings. The wagon is very clean underneath and in great shape. For those wondering, our detail team put a rush on the initial detail (apologies the tailpipes aren’t spotless) for the photo shoot as we were dodging raindrops and tornados last week in Georgia. The future owner can rest assured the car will receive a full detail before delivery (and of course a tank of gas to solve the light that came on during the driving video.) thanks to all who have contacted us so far, we look forward to helping re-home this AMG.
@UKCHAPthis was an odd shadow effect we noticed from angle but not the other when the car was shot. We’ll take some photos of the interior in bright daylight and under LED’s over the next day and upload. Will do the same for brake pads. No shimmy or shake at braking but will verify with you soon. Thanks!
Welcome all to our ultra-rare 2009 E63 AMG Wagon. This car comes to us from a repeat client who should be regarded as a true MB enthusiast. We hope the photos and videos are a good representation of how clean this example is and for those wondering we will be getting the car on a lift within 24 hours. If any questions are unanswered, please let us know and for those interested in seeing the car in person you're welcome to make an appointment, we're just on the outskirts of Atlanta proper. Thanks and bid with confidence!
It's impossible not to love the 62...Awesome, understated spec here. The next owner will be lucky.
Wow! Two in one week! Save the classics!
@CaPengThe owner wanted something more modern with bluetooth audio and phone along with music apps and up to date navigation. The factory unit works well and will be included with the car.
@Zaid3Good day everyone- a few touch points with a couple days left. a friendly reminder bids must be placed through the site, not made as comments. We welcome your official bids! @GDalPiaz the 100k service was reportedly performed by the previous owner at an independent shop but records were not kept. Plugs were also changed by the previous owner. Thanks
@bosshogg365It did not, feel free to reach out to us if you're interested.
@StevenPincus1Morning all, as we approach the final hour of the auction let us know if you have any questions. the brakes (pads and rotors were changed in 2015 and have good life left). This coupe will make a great daily for the next owner or weekend cruiser.
@mbmikemaMorning we'll work on getting those for you over the weekend. thanks!
@BegodoIt's definitely a positive when they receive a new one. The alternator seems to be the achilles heel for many aging Maybachs. As we approach the final hours of the auction let us know if there are any lingering questions!
@APSloan1Good catch- you're right. We've requested the change.
@Jim_RosenthalThey will go with the car, thanks.
@AxleRecords are in the gallery now. Original purchase agreement and promissory note are included- even a copy of the check written to buy the car. More than $12,500 in repairs over the years are documented with the most recent being a new radiator in January of '22. Bid with confidence and ping us with any questions!
All, welcome to our 300CE auction. As the listing points out, this has been a two owner example with current ownership dating back to 1992. @Axle we'll be uploading service records today and we'll reach out once those are up. It's by no means a show car but a true testament to how well these cars were built for decades of daily duty. It's a fantastic survivor and ready for the next 30-year home.
@schlitzieAs the selling dealer we offer a great third-party warranty that can be tailored out for various terms. No deductible and shop of your choice (Including the dealer) are a couple talking points. You're welcome to contact us directly as well!
All, welcome to our AMG E63 Wagon auction. As @thembmartket notes, this is the go everywhere, do everything, roast all the tires option or as we call it; the perfect one-car garage. The Lunar over Macchiato combination is striking in person and the carbon fiber trim is an aggressive contrast to the colors. Let us know if there are questions during the auction, bid with confidence!
All, we've uploaded the receipt from the dealer for the alternator. For those unfamiliar, this is not a light job. The bill was $13,635.
@EuropeanCThanks for asking- this car wasn't optioned with the rear tables. As for the flutes and umbrella, they're not with the car but in storage. We expect to have them in hand this week and will update with photos once they are. Window Sticker seems to have been misplaced along the way, a VIN decode may help with options. thanks!
Welcome to our 2004 Maybach 57 auction! As the header suggests this car is celebrity owned and has been since day one by Chris Tucker (For those of you unfamiliar, watch Rush Hour or Friday!) Under his ownership the selling dealer has maintained it as needed as it’s been sold from him personally to an LLC and moved (hence the Carfax showing a few owners). We’ve been familiar with this 57 for several years and can attest to not only the cleanliness of this example but also the functionality of various features highlighted by the Maybach brand. Please let us know if you have any questions or want to see something not shown in the gallery. Over the course of the auction we welcome any appointments in Marietta, GA to see the car in person. Thanks!
Clutch, timing chain, and flex disc are recent services we have documented. The car has been inspected by an MB specific shop in Atlanta and serviced as needed. The shop has given it a clean bill of health.
@NomadiccustomsThere is- we had planned on having it addressed last week but weather was cooperative. If the buyer is patient through Wednesday of this week, we'll have it taken care of. Let us know if there are any questions moving into the final day!
@nmemtfThis car came with the fix-a-flat kit as a result of the 3rd row being optioned so no spare tire. 3rd row headrests will be included, thanks @Ericnotwithak the wagon is on stock suspension and has not been lowered. Reserves are not discussed- thanks.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays, welcome to our E63 Wagon auction. This car has come from a good client as a repeat sale for us. A few good questions so far that we're more than happy to address: @thiagovedder the recall refers to the bonding used for the glass sunroof. A more prevalent issue in pano roof cars from this era, MB will replace if the glass doesn't pass inspection. @bwamp there is a light ceramic tint on the windows. The windscreen is not tinted. Let us know if there are more questions, we welcome in-person visits in Marietta, GA. Thanks!
@magnagoldThanks for your patience. Paint meter photos have been uploaded to the gallery and they show movement counterclockwise around the car starting at the nose. All paint metered original with normal variance. The tire date codes show 2007 and 2008 between the four and don't show any signs of dryness or cracking but should most likely be replaced if the next owner plans on seeing any real road time.
@magnagoldSorry about that! We must have missed the message somewhere- What can we answer?
Good morning all. Thank you for the patience, we have posted paint meter readings to the gallery. As we mentioned, the car has been painted previously but the quality of the job was extremely thorough. More coming today- Thanks!
@CuttysarkNo Parktronic on this one. @matt19hsc We don't believe Blue Ridge has seen this one, it's been dealer maintained since new.
@djc1117All good questions! -We'll be happy to post paint meter readings tomorrow along with photos of the underside and some videos. Weather in Georgia for the last several days has kept us from being able to do so sooner. The car was repainted with a previous owner and shows nicely in the original color. -The AC has been converted and blows cold. -Regarding the suspension, all the components were replaced and can still be adjusted for the two positions on US cars. -Regarding the 6.9 badge, Most US-spec 6.9's were delivered with only this badge on the right side. -As you mentioned, we are not the owner, this 6.9 is on consignment from a client. It's unclear how many owners there were prior to the current as records were not kept. The car isn't listed as "no reserve" so we have placed a reserve on the car. Stay tuned for updates tomorrow, we're looking forward to sharing. Thanks for the questions!
@JaYFbwe're sorry, we won't be putting miles on the car while the auctions up- You're more than welcome to come down to Atlanta and see it in person and we'll be more than happy to take you for a ride. We'll also be uploading walk around videos and driving videos for everyone.
All, welcome to our E55 AMG auction. This car comes out of a long-time friend and clients collection and should largely speak for itself. We aim to have some videos in the next 24 hours as weather permits and look forward to being available to answer any questions as the auction progresses. Best of luck!
Underside photos have been added- All looks in good order and very clean. Also have title in hand and it shows free, clear, and clean. Mileage exemption throws Carfax off on the title but it's verified clean.
@EuropeanStarrWe will work on getting some before the end of the auction. Stay tuned!
Welcome to our 1984 280SE auction. This car has been lovingly owned and restored by a local-to-us collector and enthusiast. Please let us know if there are any questions or shots not shown in the gallery.
@bjfike coming in with the TKO, congrats- this truly is a fantastic example. We'll be in touch shortly!
@zachmacExactly!
@zachmac The parking poles automatically raise when the car is placed into reverse. The idea is to give the driver a reference point for where the rear corners of the car are. Regarding the rear view mirror, it was motorized for these 600's, meaning you adjusted with the knob much like the exterior wing mirrors. This one had some minor play and vibration so the owner has presumably placed the foam between the mirror and the headliner to minimize. We've spent considerable time in it and can verify the mirror doesn't move now.
To everyone who's asked for photos of records, thank you for your patience. The photos have been uploaded and absolutely emphasize how nice this example is. Please let us know if there are more questions! Everything from records to OEM brochures, and magazine articles can be found in the binder.
We're pleased to announce we're lifting the reserve so this beautiful W116 will be going to a new home today! We want to thank everyone for the interest in our great 300SD so far and encourage everybody to bid with the utmost confidence.
@GA_BCOOf Course! We're happy to show by appointment. You're more than welcome to message us.
Welcome to our 1979 300SD auction! We've been familiar with this W116 for several years and can attest to not only the cleanliness of this example but also the true functionality of every little detail. It's by far the nicest W116 we've come across in at least a decade. Please let us know if you have any questions or want to see something not shown in the gallery. Over the next 7 days we welcome any appointments in Marietta, GA to see the car in person. Thanks!

Thanks!

@EuropeanCThanks for asking- this car wasn't optioned with the rear tables. As for the flutes and umbrella, they're not with the car but in storage. Thanks!

GASMotorcars said:
@zachmac The parking poles automatically raise when the car is placed into reverse. The idea is to give the driver a reference point for where the rear corners of the car are. Regarding the rear view mirror, it was motorized for these 600's, meaning you adjusted with the knob much like the exterior wing mirrors. This one had some minor play and vibration so the owner has presumably placed the foam between the mirror and the headliner to minimize. We've spent considerable time in it and can verify the mirror doesn't move now.
