This 2019 Mercedes-Maybach S560 4Matic was custom ordered by the seller from Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan in 2018 for $180,745 and has been privately chauffeur-driven since new. This flagship ultra-luxury S-Class is finished in Lunar Blue Metallic (890) over Designo Silk Beige/Deep Sea Blue (962) leather with quilted accents. Power is supplied by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 paired with a nine-speed G-Tronic automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive. Features include the rear executive seat package, magic sky control, active LED headlights, Airmatic suspension, adaptive cruise control, a panorama roof, multi-color ambient lighting, four-passenger seating, heated and ventilated multi-contour seats with massage functionality, designo Brown Liden wood trim, COMAND infotainment with navigation, Burmester 3D audio, a champagne refrigerator, folding rear tray tables, 20″ multispoke wheels and much more. Now showing only 20k miles, this Maybach is now offered at No Reserve by the seller with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a first-aid kit, seat pillows, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title.
The body is finished in Lunar Blue Metallic (890) and features a panorama Magic Sky Control roof, active LED headlamps, adaptive high-beam assist, soft-close doors, chrome grilles and accents, and split-dual exhaust outlets. The Maybach has a longer wheelbase than a standard S-Class and features unique chrome body accents.
20″ multispoke wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires measuring 245/40 up front and 275/35 in the rear with 2020 date codes. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs enhanced by Active Brake Assist with automated emergency braking. Wheel imperfections are visible in the gallery below.
The four-seat cabin features designo Silk Beige/Deep Sea Blue (962) leather with quilted accents stitching on the seats, door panels, and dashboard complemented by designo Brown Liden wood trim. Additional amenities include heated and ventilated multi-contour massaging front and rear seats as well as Distronic adaptive cruise control, an Air Balance cabin fragrance system, heated and cooled cupholders, inductive wireless charging, 64-color ambient lighting with illuminated doorsills, steering-wheel touch controls, a COMAND infotainment system with a 12.3” touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, a Burmester 3D surround-sound system, four-zone automatic climate control, and Keyless-Go. Bolster wear is visible on the driver’s seat and photos are presented in the gallery.
The rear quarters feature a pair of reclining seats with extendable leg rests as well as folding tray tables, rear entertainment screens, a fixed center console, and a champagne refrigerator.
The leather and wood steering wheel frames a 12.3” configurable digital display that can feature a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer along with various other multi-function screens. The digital odometer shows just over 20k miles.
The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 is factory rated at 463 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a nine-speed G-Tronic automatic transmission and a 4Matic full-time all-wheel-drive system.
A copy of the window sticker shows initial delivery to Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan and lists factory colors, options, and a total retail price of $180,745 including $4,950 for Magic Sky Control, $1,950 rear seating package and $1,100 for the refrigerator. Manufacturer’s literature, a first-aid kit, and seat pillows are included in the sale. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists single-owner registration history exclusive to New York.
A walkaround video and interior tour is viewable below:
Since the 1950’s, futurism has foretold that flying cars would soon be ubiquitous in the modern metropolis. Although this prediction has paled, the backseat of a Mercedes-Benz Maybach is as close to riding in a private jet as one can get; with all four wheels on the ground, of course. The rear reclining seats in the executive seating package provide comfort for relaxation, tables for working and connectivity for any modern media mogul’s many needs. This particular example has been operated the way a Mercedes-Benz Maybach surely should: with emphasis on the rear seat occupants more than the front. But the driver’s seat is undersold in this comparison because this flagship sedan spools up 463bhp and 516 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels across nine silky-smooth gears. Which begs the question: People will pay you to drive a Mercedes-Benz Maybach around all day? And where do I sign up? For those not seeking a career change, this one can be yours at No Reserve. So, bid to win and maybe you can hire someone (me) to drive you around in this ground-locked Gulfstream.
