This refurbished Mercedes-Benz 300 SL tool kit was acquired by the seller approximately 20 years ago from a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL he purchased for restoration. The kit includes open-end wrenches, a fuel injection pump line tool, pliers, a spark plug wrench, Allen wrenches, spare fuses, a screwdriver, and more. A tan leather tool roll was reconstructed by the craftsmen who refurbished the interior on the 300SL and keeps the contents organized and features sleeves for securing individual items. This 300SL tool kit was refurbished and purposed for rally/tour participation and is now offered from the seller’s collection at No Reserve in Orlando, FL.

The kit includes five open-end wrenches, four of which feature the Mercedes-Benz brand and one with both Mercedes-Benz and Dowidat brands. The combination pliers feature Mercedes-Benz silver star branding and part number 1295810038.

Among the specialty tools in the kit is a spark plug wrench with a tommy bar, a “crowfoot” fuel injection pump line tool, Philips head screwdriver with wooden handle, and a spark plug holder.

The tool roll is constructed of tan leather with a green cloth lining and features 14 pockets, snap closures, and straps for securing the fold-out flap. Additional photos of the tool roll are provided in the gallery below.
