Welcome to the auction. I've always loved the 07/08 SL's. I tend to gravitate to the end of the production of any model - this represents peak R230 in my view. To each his own I suppose, but I feel like the '09 face lift was a step backwards from a design perspective. I'm also a sucker for special limited production models that have been lovely cared for. In this 50th Edition, Mercedes celebrated the first SL by putting together a tastefully timeless package. If it wasn't for finding an Aston Martin that I couldn't resist, I wouldn't be selling this one.
