This 2000 Mercedes-Benz G500 was first ordered at the Rhine-Rhur branch in Germany and exported to Japan where it remained until being imported into the United States by the selling dealer earlier this year. Finished in Glacier White (143U) over a Black leather interior, this SUV is powered by a 5.0L M113 engine driving all four wheels. Factory equipment includes heated front seats, a heated rear bench seat, BEHR air conditioning, an electric sunroof, illuminated door sills, spare wheel cover, rear jump seats, side steps, and a front brush guard. Recent service includes new valve cover gaskets and an oil service in preparation for the sale. Prior service records from Japan are also included with translated versions in the gallery. This G500 now has 121k kilometers (~75k miles) and is offered for sale by the selling dealer with two key FOBs, prior service records from Japan, a clean Carfax report and a clean Virginia title.
The exterior is finished in Glacier White (143U) and features factory side steps, front brush guard, and wind deflectors on each door. There are no signs of rust of the body and a rear mounted full-size spare is mounted on the rear door with the original cover. Additional exterior equipment includes fog lamps, a heated windshield washer system, a power tilt/slide sunroof, dual tip side exit exhaust, and a body-color side mirrors with integrated turn signals. Light wear is noted on the clear stone guards on the rear fender flares.
Factory 18x7.5” wheels wear Bridgestone Dueler H/P tires measuring 265/60 at all four corners with older date codes. Coil suspension and disc brakes are tucked behind each wheel. The wheels show in good condition with the seller noting some black residue on the rear left wheel. A full-size spare is mounted to the rear door with the cover.
The cabin is trimmed in Black leather with matching door panels and dashboard while Burl Walnut wood trim lines the center console. Both front seats are power adjustable and heated with three-position memory and the rear bench seat is heated on each side as well. Interior features include a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a Pioneer head unit. Factory Mercedes floor mats are installed showing the "V8" emblem on the corner of the front mats. The air conditioning and all other electronics have been tested and are reported to be in working order. The rear cargo area is lined with a rubber floor mat and features folding jump seats on each side from the factory.
The leather and wood-wrapped steering wheel frames a 240-kph speedometer with a central-mounted digital display as well as a 7k-rpm tachometer, a fuel gauge, coolant temperature and digital displays for outside temperature and time. The digital odometer shows just under 121k kilometers (~75k miles).
This G500 is powered by a 5.0-liter M113 V8 which is factory rated at 302 horsepower and 336 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission and a dual-speed transfer case. Various service records from Japan are included with the sale and provided in the gallery with versions translated to English. Most recently, the valve cover gaskets were replaced and an oil service performed in preparation for the sale.
Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery. The Carfax report shows first entry in March 2025 shortly after import. The selling dealer can assist buyers with shipping needs. This G500 is now offered with two key FOBs, prior service records from Japan, a clean Carfax report and a clean Virginia title.

@dbwisle It's a fairly common thing for many of the 90's gauge clusters to show those white dots on the inside of the cluster housing. Fortunately, it's a pretty simple fix and really doesn't cost anything to do. Just pull the cluster and then the housing separates from the backing with clips. Clean and put it back in!
@dbwisle Thanks, we replaced the valve cover gaskets and did an oil change recently. The image of the cluster you mentioned shows some stain from age. It can be cleaned. The stereo and nav system are set for different frequencies than US, but does pick up some stations.

Question….I cant read the maintenance paperwork, but there is a page with 2015 dates…has more recent maintenance been performed? Also, any knowledge of all the aftermarket electronics on the dash, what they do etc., and if they will correctly operate in the US. And lastly, it appears the main instrument cluster (Speedo, etc) is worn on the inside or plastic surface….any comment?….thanks…
Can this be ship to Nigeria?
@DF315 Sunroof, leather, running boards, AC, rear jump seats, illuminated door sills, heated front and rear seats, ultrasonic backup assist. More factory options shown on the VIN decode: https://www.lastvin.com/vin/8vKkQA8BZgyEyprWo
@mark1 eurosellinc The nav is not set up for US roads. The radio has different frequencies so not all stations work in the US. For anyone looking to upgrade or replace the head unit, we recommend the Continental TR7412 which blends perfectly with the OE aesthetic and offers bluetooth.
The insight states “ The options list from the factory leads us to believe whoever ordered this G500 new knew exactly what they were doing” Could you kindly list what some of these that are not common? Cheers and thank you
Hi. Noticed the aftermarket head unit and navigation. Does the navigation work for US roads and is the radio able to play FM and AM stations here in the states?
