It was the result of a parking lot fender bender and no paint work was required. I also confirmed this with the insurance agency who handled the claim and the airbag deployment reporting is in error. I have started a claim with Carfax to have this corrected and wanted to share this information to put minds at ease! I assure this is an incredibly well cared for example in a very rare color.
