Tirana, No! Does NOT have the problematic air suspension.
Rear sunshade, no
The only known issue is with the rear sunshade. It was stuck in the up position when I acquired the vehicle. The MB tech that services my vehicles got it to the lowered position. The cost for the part from MB is $1200 before considerable labor. To me, it was not worth tearing up the car for something I would never use. So it sits in the lowered position, inoperable.
Dante….the date codes are not on the outside of the tire. I have been looking at the whole diameter of the sidewall, and it’s not there. I just came back from the tire shop I used, and they think it’s on the inside. It is not after the DOT stamping. There are 2 four digit stampings that follow the DOT stamp, but they are related to the manufacturer and location. I would rather not remove the tire to look on the inside of the tire. I can send you pics if you want to look yourself, but the tire are from 2021, installed in August of 2021 at 10K miles. The car had the original tires on it when I bought it. I bought the same as OE. Continental Pro-Contact. You can message me if you want the pics. I can also show you the receipt from the tire shop.
