@Caelhi Cael, the car has not been smoked in and doesn’t have any odors. The only other issue that i’ve encountered with it has been that the fuel level sometimes will be inaccurate, but from what I’ve read and seen from other 163 owners this seems to be very common (was told to keep the engine running during full ups, as this allows the fuel level to update as it’s being filled up, and not to top it off). Engine wise, it has the m112 V6 and I haven’t encountered any issues with it, they’re one of Mercedes Benz’s most reliable engines (m112 V6 and m113 V8). I’ve also put a lot into maintaining it, so I’ve done most of the heavy lifting that you’d be expected to do when buying an older car. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
Here are some of my recent service items: Smog tested in February New Spark plugs (12 of them) New Radiator New Coolant temp sensor New Thermostat New Shifter and trans bushing New Engine and trans mounts New Upper control arms New Front and rear struts New Rear coils Oil changed 2 times New Front and rear differential fluid New Transfer case fluid New Conductor plate for the transmission Transmission fluid flush and filter Coolant flush Brake fluid flush New Engine air filters New Trunk and hood struts New Oil level/ quality sensor New Lower engine pan re seal New Steering tie rods MAF serviced
