This authentic R129 SL Briefcase was offered by Mercedes-Benz exclusively with the 2002 SL-Class Silver Arrow Editions. It’s finished in aluminum with black protectors on each corner. The inside features leather bound pockets on the top portion and is fully lined with Silver Arrow fabric. The "Silver Arrow" moniker is shown between the metal clasps. The original Silver Arrow Certificate is included in the sale along with the original keychain and box, pen and sleeve, and protective foam insert. The seller reports the included Certificate remains undesignated with no VIN currently specified. This rare Silver Arrow briefcase is offered at No Reserve by the seller in Roanoke, Virginia and the shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer.
The Silver Arrow edition R129s were offered for the 2002 model year only of which 1,550 total units were produced. Each model came exclusively with a "Silver Arrow" briefcase and many have been lost or separated from the cars today. The exterior casing is finished in aluminum which matches the additional aluminum touches on the Silver Arrow edition cars. Black protectors at each corner are fully intact. Two metal clasps lock and unlock with the "Silver Arrow" moniker featured at the center.
The inside is lined with a unique cloth along both ends. The top portion also features leather bound pockets when opened up. Each briefcase originally came with an official Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrow Certificate, Silver Arrow pen with matching sleeve, and a Silver Arrow key ring in a separate box. All accessories are included making this a fully complete set. The foam padding insert is also still present.

@MSerpe I wish I knew! The previous owner owned a Silver Arrow (owned for 19 years but sold it a few years back) but it had a matching briefcase with it.
