This 1991 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6 AMG was reportedly built by AMG Germany specially for Rodrigo Pessoa, a renowned Olympic rider and trainer, who represented Brazil in the Olympics 7 times, and won the Gold medal in the individual competition. Pessoa trained Mr. Aufrecht's daughter and due to their close bond, Mr. Aufrecht built this car for him. Finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) over Anthracite Leather (271), power is provided by a 2.6-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes an authentic stamped AMG body kit, 16" AMG monoblock wheels, heated front sport seats, a sliding sunroof, original Euro-spec headlights, and a Blaupunkt head unit. Additional AMG modifications include a Sebring exhuast, suspension, AMG floormats, and wood shift knob. An extensive service in 2023 included all fresh fluids, filters, spark plugs, fuel pump, and a cleaning of the gas tank. The body is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) and features matching painted trim as part of the AMG treatment. An authentic AMG body kit is fitted and includes a full front and rear bumper, extended side skirts, and 3-piece trunk spoiler. TÜV reports done by AMG in 1994 report the full AMG upfitting installed at that time. Exterior equipment includes Euro-spec headlights, lower front fog lights, a sliding sunroof, an automatic antenna, and a power adjustable passenger-side mirror. The seller notes a dime-sized blemish on the hood. The paint quality is reportedly in good condition with paint meter readings available in the gallery. 

Fitted to the car are authentic 16" AMG Aero I monoblock wheels which come wrapped in a set of Toyo Proxes TR tires, which were fitted in 2023, measuring 255/45 on all four corners with 2022 date codes. Each wheel shows original AMG stamps and features a paint-matched center with machined lips. Underbody photos show an AMG stamped Sebring exhaust and AMG suspension. 

The cabin is upholstered in Anthracite Leather (271) with a matching dashboard and carpets. Zebrano wood trim can be found covering the center console with an AMG wood shift knob. Interior features include climate control, power windows, a Blaupunkt head unit, and an electrically adjustable passenger side mirror. The factory front sport seats are heated and power adjustable. All interior pieces are well preserved with no major wear. 

The four-spoke steering wheel frames analog instrumentation including a 240-kph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature and oil pressure. The six-digit mechanical odometer currently shows 194k km (~121k miles).

This W201 is powered by a 2.6-liter inline six-cylinder engine which produces 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. An extensive maintenance performed in 2023 includes all fresh fluids, filters, spark plugs, fuel pump, and a cleaning of the gas tank. An authentic AMG Sebring exhaust is fitted with original AMG twin tips at the rear. 

The first owner is reported to be Rodrigo Pessoa, a famous equestrian specialized in show jumping, with prior ownership documents included. Pessoa was the trainer for Mr. Aufrecht's daughter and he had this car built specially for him. An autographed photo from Pessoa will be included in the sale and is pictured in the gallery.
