A cold-start and walk-around video has been provided by the seller below.
After offering the first turbo diesel passenger car to ever be sold in the W116 chassis, Mercedes continued their flagship diesel lineup for the W126 including turbocharged variants for the US market. Produced for only two years, the OM603-powered 350SDL is exceptionally rare with less than 3,000 units produced. This final year example has been well maintained with full service history documented from new showing a clean exterior and interior along with refinished wheels. This W126 looks as good as ever and has been well cared for by its previous owners making for a great opportunity for an enthusiast to purchase a worry-free example of a classic turbo diesel S-Class.

@Bid2own I agree. i could have kept going but unanswered questions slow me down. I think the winner got a very decent deal if everything works.

On one photo the right front tire is flat. Is it leaking?
@adampadla. Gorgeous car. Just a couple of questions. i apologize in advance if these were answered but i didn't find the info. Does the AC work as it should - Nice and cold? All the climate controls function correctly? Age of tires? Not tread condition but actual age. Thank you

@Familyman12345 The original windshield is still in the car and it is cracked. I didn't replace it since the windshield is original with Mercedes-Benz sticker on it.
This is a stunning automobile that appears almost in showroom condition. I did notice in photo #37 that it appears that there is a crack in the windshield. Is this just a flaw in the photograph? I didn't see it in other pics. Thanks!
I just picked up a 1991 350 SDL with silver on the same type of interior and I’m in love with cruising in it! Seeing one with much lower miles and on this website has piqued my attention! Looking forward to seeing what this will sell for. Mine has 280k miles and unfortunately has a rebuilt title. However, it’s one helluva clean car.
@adampadla Yes, i noticed it right away as a perfect specimen. i was driving an 86 300 sdl and i am looking to get close to that again. it truly is a special car.
@Ericpfriese It was my mistake for not previously removing the Craigslist posting I originally put up for this car. Frankly, I was not aware of its value until I further educated myself on this site. The car is in pristine condition and has been truly pampered its entire life. The 30+ years of maintenance records kept chronologically in a binder are a testament to its care. I'm confident others will see its true value and bid fairly on this auction.

This car is listed on craigslist in the nyc suburb section. This goes against MB market policy of not listing anywhere else while the auction is active here. The list price is (as of2/26/23)/was (if the listing is now taken down) ~$8200.00 Presumably this is what the seller thought was a fair asking price. Buyer beware. I saw the car listed here first and predicted the final bid would be upwards of $15,000 (just intuition of watching the auctions on this site). That is nearly twice as much as what he's asking on CL. I did message the seller on here to ask if it is indeed the same car and did not hear back. I later emailed his ad on CL and did not hear back.

I had a 1991 with far more miles that I deeply regret selling. It was the most comfortable car I have ever owned. The MPG kinda stinks, but man oh man, what a comfortable ride.
