@W123_280CE Hi everyone, apologies was in the mountains and didn’t have signal until now. Unsure of the wood being refinished, this is how we got the car, overall very great condition for the miles. 1. Please review the free carfax 2. No rust seen on the quarter panels. Just the fender that we pointed out 3. We only have what’s on carfax 4. Seats are fine, with support 5. We don’t have the recourses but if you would like to set up an appointment somewhere we will be happy to drop it off. No mechanical issues that we know of, car runs and drives well, please review driving video. Pre-purchase inspections are welcome prior to the auction ending.
I would also like to know if there are any mechanical issues not mentioned. Thanks-
As a bidder on the car, I am a bit concerned that there has been no response by the seller to W123_280CE inquiries. I would also like to see the response. Thanks-

This is a cool car; however, 242,618 miles is a lot of miles even by Mercedes standard, there are a lot of open questions, I reached out to the seller several days ago and have not received a response: 1. Where is this 560SEC originally from and where has it been before arriving in California; 2. I asked for pictures: drivers side rear quarter panel appears to have rust, would like a more detailed picture, would like pictures of the undercarriage, C126's are notorious for leaky main and dif. seals; 3. I asked for PDF copies of the "50 service history records," 4. Is there any support left in the seats? 5. Compression and leak-down test(s) would be nice to see.
@Khalkhool78 thank you for providing that context, it makes a lot of sense! I apologize for making an assumption about your comment. Best of luck with your restoration!
@Mbloverforever I honestly didn't see the scratches, but I notices it's dark wood so I assumed it's refinished.. I'm working on my 560SEC at the moment and I wanted to know who does refinish the trim.. It's indeed a nice car for the 200k miles
@Khalkhool78 A little bit of a shady question for a gorgeous car. Why do you think the wood has been restored? I’m just curious because I see a scratch on the console wood on the right side of the gearshift. I would simply like some insight on what I may be missing In the pix or in the description? Thank you…
Nice car, Who restored your wood trim??
