Grand Edition cabins were trimmed in exclusive Beige (Parchment) Nappa Leather (235) and featured stitched seams on the seats and steering wheel horn pad. Options include front and rear heated seats, a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, illuminated door sills, an OEM car phone with voice control, roof mounted vanity mirrors for the rear seats, a rear rollerblind, and an OEM Becker head unit with CD changer. The cabin is accented by Black Art Line veneer which shows some fading and cracking indicative of age. The seller notes the driver door soft close is inoperable and the amplifier will need rebuilt or replaced.
The Black Art Line veneer-trimmed steering wheel frames original VDO instruments including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, instant fuel economy, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 147k miles.
This S500 is powered by a 5.0L M119 V8 which was rated for 315 horsepower when new and 347 lb-ft of torque. A 722.6 5-speed transmission drives the rear wheels and ASR manages stability.
The included Carfax report shows minor damage reported in 2019 and linear mileage updates since new. @Robertlnm i’m selling because I’m not interested in the car, but I had to save it from getting wrecked by the previous owner. She was gonna donate it to a junkyard and the biodegradable issue with the wire harness ended in 1995. This car is very reliable.The Bio-degradable looms were solved after 1994 production year, so that shoouldnt be an issue on a 99 W140You've owned it a short period of time. Why sell?
