This 2000 Mercedes-Benz E430 shows Missouri registration from new with just two original owners and 138k miles on the odometer. The car is being relisted on The MB Market with a lower reserve from earlier this year. Finished in Obsidian Black Metallic (197) over Java Leather (214), power is provided by a 4.3-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes power adjustable heated front seats, a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, power and auto-dimming mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, Bose audio and a power tilt/telescope steering column. Recent maintenance included an engine oil and oil filter change along with a full mechanical inspection. The car shows full dealer service history from new with nearly $9k in dealer service receipts under the seller's care since 2018. This E430 is now offered for sale by the current owner with the original window sticker, both original keys, the original tool kit, manufacturer’s literature and a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.
The exterior is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic (197) and features chrome trim along the beltline and bumpers. The seller reports that the rear bumper and side skirts have previously been repainted with new seals installed. The exterior is in good condition with no signs of body damage or rust present. An accident is shown on the Carfax from 2002 showing damage to the right rear with no airbags deployed.
The cabin is upholstered in Java Leather (214) and features matching carpets, headliner and floor mats while Burl Walnut wood trim lines the center console, dashboard and door panels. Both front seats are heated and offer 10-way power adjustability with three-position memory. Additional interior amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, a Mercedes radio and cassette player, Bose premium audio, and a power tilt/telescope steering wheel. The interior shows very few signs of wear with no cracks or discoloration shown in the wood trim.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer along with a 7k-rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Digital instrumentation consists of an outside temperature sensor, a digital clock and a digital odometer which reads 138k miles with 10k miles added by the current owner in the past five years.
This W210 sedan is powered by a 4.3-liter V8 engine which outputs 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. @KingKitty he saw your comment. He knows he’s getting a spectacular car. He like me thinks you’re a nameless coward. Which is exactly what you are.
Hah! I prefer "unhinged troll", thank you. If I was your buyer I would not be happy after reading your comments and paying $8k for a $5k car. This was quite the clown show.
Wow. Looks like everyone here really missed out on a ‘great’ buying experience. 🙄
@KingKitty I sold it for 8000 last night. I have $1000 deposit from my buyers. They are flying into Kansas City two weeks from today to pick up the car. I have the airline confirmation. I originally bought the car in 2018 for $1500 from my dealership where I worked at Plaza Mercedes Benz in St. Louis. They paid 1000 on trade for it. Bahahaha! I enjoyed the car trouble free five years for less than 2500 dollars. That’s 41.66/month. What else could you drive for this amount and this caliber of car? The reserve was 8000. I actually lowered it to 7750 right before the auction ended. SteveK missed out on on a spectacular car. LOL SOLD! No third time needed. I couldn’t be happier! I’ve looked at your posts on this website. You are nothing but a nameless troll.
The market has spoken! Pretty much a stripper with nothing more than heated seats, add in the accident damage, and it's a $5,000 car on a good day. Third time's a charm?
