This 2003 Mercedes-Benz S500 was sold new by John Sisson Motors and first titled in Pennsylvania. It shows four owners since new with subsequent registrations in Ohio and Georgia, and currently shows 80k original miles. Finished in Alabaster White (960) over Java Nappa Leather (844), power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Factory equipment includes heated and ventilated power front seats, a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, Bi-Xenon headlamps, Bose, an updated Bluetooth headunit, Airmatic suspension, and a power rear sunshade. Records showing routine servicing and maintenance since 2012 are included in the sale. This 2003 S500 is now offered for sale in Georgia with two keys, factory literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title.
The exterior is finished in Alabaster White (960) and features a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, Bi-Xenon headlamps, heated headlamp washers, and LED turn signals and brake lights. The exterior has received regular detailing including wax and polish, and reportedly shows original paint with no history of body work. The seller notes a scratch on the right front fender and has included a photo in the gallery of the flaw.
Original 17x7.5” split five-spoke wheels are fitted with Yokohama tires measuring 225/55 front and rear showing 2022 date codes. The wheels show no signs of damage or curb rash. Airmatic suspension is standard equipment offering adjustable ride height while the Adaptive Damping system provides adjustable stiffness.
The cabin is trimmed in Java Nappa Leather (844) with matching carpets while Burl Walnut wood trim lines the center console, dashboard, and door panels. Custom Calico Cocomats are shown in all four footwells. Both front seats are heated and ventilated with 14-way power adjustability. Additional interior amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose audio system, a Bluettooth-integrated head unit with navigation, rear side-window sunshades and a power rear window sunshade. The driver’s door soft close is reportedly not operational and a trim ring around the driver’s headrest post is damaged. Detailed photos of the cabin and trunk can be seen in the gallery.
The leather steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer along with a 6k-rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Digital instrumentation includes an outside temperature sensor, a digital clock and a digital odometer which shows 80k miles.
This W220 is powered by a 5.0-liter M113 V8 engine which is factory rated for 315 horsepower and 349 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Records showing routine servicing and maintenance since 2012 are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows four owners with linear mileage updates and no accidents or damage reports. This 2003 S500 is now offered for sale in Georgia with two keys, factory literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title.

Radio change was to add Bluetooth and new functions such as syncing google maps thru phone. They are more accurate and doesn’t require a Mercedes subscription for navigation updates. It is night and day improvement.
What was the reason to switch to aftermarket radio unit, do You still have OE unit. Thank You.
I forgot to mention, the buyer will also receive a garage door adapter that plugs into a wall socket in your garage. It works with Chamberlain garage door openers. Newer garage door openers now use ROLLING CODES, whereas cars prior to the requirement will not communicate with the opener. It its a bridge between the car garage opener button and the opener. It sends a standard signal to the bridge device, which in turn sends a rolling code signal to the opener. Technology is nice, and this keeps it current.
Nice S500, keeping my eye on this one. Good luck with the auction.
@DrCool I completely agree. EVERY MB I own has them. Going to order from new GLS purchased yesterday.
I swear Cocomats make any Benz even better looking.

This is as cherry as they get. I owned a matching 2006 MB CL500 that I sold 2 years ago here to an exotic car dealer in Arizona. When the car arrived, he let me know that he was stunned at the clean condition of the car. Well this one is just as nice. There may be a nicer MB S500 out there, but this car is one of the best in the country. We downsized and just bought a new GLS. I hate to let this go.
