The early W240 US examples usually were very well-optioned as this one is. Attractive paint, three rear shades, individual seats and ventilated/heated seats all around. Many other small items that later ones did not have such as the stunning woodwork that was replaced with carbon-fiber on many. This example appears very nice overall without knowing service history. Appears to have been stored indoors. The phone, audio/visual headphones and remotes are not shown or may be missing along with Champaine flutes and no picture of the amazing Dunhill umbrella combo in the trunk. All items that are very tough to find, but do pop up occasionally. Two keys are a must. In my personal experience with a similar 2004 57 for one year and about 3,000 miles they have many driving similarities to my (W140) 1997 S600, but everything is just so much more refined, quite and very powerful. There is much confusion regarding the similarities with the S-class of 2004, but there are very few comparison and a 57/62 is in a league of their own entirely. The Rolls-Royce Phanom 5 was and still is inferior compared to a Maybach and the Rolls is now a paperweight due to BMW not supporting them. Not the case with the 240 there are dealers who will still work on them and an active parts market - especially in Europe. Hopefully a good VMI shows up. These are very heavy cars and most at this point need a thorough rubber/bushing/mount refurbishment (engine out if possible), air-struts/ABC rebuild and brake work. It's worth the time/cost as when they are sorted they are sublime. In my experience undertaking this work the parts were available. Some special tools needed, yet all possible with time and patience. The costs were normal for the Rolls/Ferrari/Aston world. These cars were built for seriously wealthy people and have become a piece of art more than a "car" so proper care and understanding of how unique these 240 Maybachs are is needed to understand the costs of ownership.
No ABC on the W240. These cars have AirMatic Dual Control, unique suspension parts to the W240.

@GenevaMotorCars , it shows on 3/15/2025 the car was sold at auction, can you please post the condition report from that sale. My son works for Mercedes in Long beach , he can get a VMI if you need it.
@Motts71. The coil packs were replaced around 2017. ABC system was serviced regularly it appears. I am working on a VMI for this one! Thanks!
Have the coil Paks been replaced? Has the ABC System been serviced?
Striking color combination. Where are the service records?

Hello everyone! Extremely excited to have this one on this platform. This is one of the nicest Maybach's we have came across and the color combo is simply stunning. Please let me know if there are any questions as we progress throughout the week!
Gorgeous!
