This 2008 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG was delivered new at Mercedes-Benz of Lynwood, Washington where it remained until the owner relocated to Calgary in 2011. The car was then used to drive between Calgary and California on a regular basis. The car remained with its original owner until 2024 when the seller acquired the car. Finished in Black (040) over Anthracite Leather (801), power is provided by a 6.2-liter DOHC V8 mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Features include Bi-Xenon headlights with cornering lights, Keyless-Go, power-adjustable heated and ventilated dynamic front seats with memory, a rear-view camera, Night View Assist, COMAND with navigation, an electric rear roller blind, and a Harman-Kardon Logic7 sound system. Now with 134k Miles (215k KM), this C216 is offered by the seller with two keys, manufacturer’s books & literature, extensive service records, a Carfax report, and a clean Canadian title.
The exterior is finished in Black (040) and features a pillarless coupe design. Factory body work includes sculpted AMG-specific bumper covers, side skirts, and a rear diffuser with quad exhaust outlets. Additional features consist of Bi-Xenon headlights with cornering illumination, fog lights, and an electric sunroof. The Carfax report shows damage reported to the front bumper in 2014 and 2022. Records show the front bumper was refinished in 2014 and then replaced in early 2023 by a Mercedes-Benz approved repair center due to contact with road debris. Detailed photos of the exterior are provided in the gallery with no signs of damage.
Staggered five-spoke AMG 20″ wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 tires measuring 255/35 up front and 275/35 out back with 2022 date codes. The car is equipped with Active Body Control suspension and silver-finished AMG calipers. Lowering links have been installed allowing the driver to adjust the cars ride height.
The cabin is upholstered in Anthracite Leather (801) with a designo anthracite Alcantara headliner, black carpets, and Burl Wood veneers on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. The stitched leather and rich burl wood are accented with brushed metal and polished chrome buttons laid out aesthetically across the cabin. Additional features include power-adjustable heated and ventilated dynamic front seats with memory, automatic climate control, Night-View Assist, rear-view camera, COMAND with navigation, a Harman-Kardon Logic7 sound system, an electric rear roller blind, and Keyless-Go. The seller retrofitted an updated COMAND screen with CarPlay which still retains OEM functionality.
The multi-function steering wheel frames digital instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer, an AMG-branded 8k-rpm tachometer, and additional gauges displaying fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer displays just over 134k miles (215k kilometers), along with digital readouts for various assistance programs, outside temperature reading, and infotainment menus.
The naturally aspirated 6.2-liter M156 V8 was factory rated at 518 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The engine features an aluminum block and head, along with port fuel injection. Consisten dealer service is shown on the Carfax report as the car was used to travel between Calgaray and California. Within the last two years, services include new engine mounts, new spark plugs, new front brake rotors and pads, a new oil cooler, a coolant flush, a differential fluid flush, A/C service, engine air filter and cabin air filter replacement, and an engine oil change. The seller reports the first and only other owner had the head bolts replaced proactively to ensure no issues. The car was inspected in preparation for the sale and shows seepage from the valve cover gaskets, as well as a slight vibration around 2k rpm due to stiffer engine mounts which were installed 10k miles ago. A folder full of service records are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows a total of 30 service records and shows linear mileage updates since new. A second owner was reported when the car was exported to Canada by the original owner. Extensive service records are included and photographed in the gallery. This two-owner CL63 AMG was originally sold in the U.S. and can be legally imported back.

As we approach the final hour of this auction on our beautiful CL63, I wanted to thank everyone for the comments, bidding and private messages. Thanks for all the inquiries, this vehicle is in such amazing condition, I wish there was a way for everyone to see the vehicle in person. There is no other CL in such great shape unless it has less than 10k miles. The photos of the seats don’t do justice of how pristine of condition they are in. The engine revs through the range so smoothly, the suspension floats, it is one beautiful car. With all that being said, reserve is a bit higher than where we are at now, but it will be worth it to whoever takes her home.

My .02, Buyers should talk to US Customs. That's where the ultimate answer is, rather than shipping companies. Info from other sites suggest that the extra Tariffs could be applicable here.
Hello everyone, I just wanted to thank everyone that is interested and or bid/commented thus far. I also want to address something I just realized was not Addressed in the listing. I had mentioned them to MB market, but I believe they were left out by accident. First thing., as you can see from the records the engine mounts were replaced less than 15,000 km ago however they were replaced with a much stiffer/more rigid engine mounts meaning when the engine ask for a few movements, they become a little restricted, this causes a small amount of vibration at around 2000 RPM before the harmonic balancer kicks in. It is nothing to worry about it is very minor and I have the mechanics report if needed. Lastly, very simple: the valve covers are leak leaking. They are leaking a little bit, but I still want to mention it. The reason for it not being done already is I’m just going to see if the car can sell as is as the reserve is set relatively low. Thank you everyone. I wish everyone could see this car in person because it is a true beauty from the interior to the exterior in no way does it show over “ 10,000 km the seats, especially the rear seats show nowhere I think no one has ever sat in the rear. It cruises down the highway at ridiculous speeds with butter like smoothness. Thank you all happy bidding.
@DLL58 yes. TFX had told me there aren’t any 25% tariffs on Mercedes Benz vehicles, and also, the vehicle tariffs that have the 25% apparently start on May 2nd. Regardless, any potential US buyers, so most likely everyone, beware of this situation and please do some research or call TFX International for all info. I don’t think there is tariffs on this car.
Canada is not the only Country facing the new Trump Tariffs. Germany, and most vehicle producing Countries are facing new Tariffs as well. It's all a moving target. Onus on Buyer to be certain of their specific situation.
@DLL58 oof! I hope I am correct. I gave a call to TFX and they mentioned it will not affect the car and 25% tariffs are not applied to this car. I hope so as I’m sure majority of buyers are from US. We shall see. If you are correct, a lot of people will be screwed over :/
@Motts71 it can easily be changed in the settings. It changes the speedometer numbers to miles aswell. It is all digital.
I hope you're correct on the Tariffs Situation. I recently received the following from another Collector Car Auction Site that I follow. (Buyers, of course, need to do their own due diligence. ) President Trump’s announcement of a sweeping 25% tariff on automobiles has sent shockwaves through the collector car community on both sides of the border. Scheduled to take effect on April 3, 2025, the new tariffs are designed to boost U.S. domestic production but initially made no exceptions for classic cars. Just as enthusiasts braced for a harsh blow to their passion, a last-minute exemption brought welcome relief—vehicles at least 25 years old will continue to face only the standard 2.5% duty, avoiding the steep 25% surcharge. For Canadian collector car owners looking to sell their prized vehicles to U.S. buyers, this exemption is a major win. Classic cars 25 years or older remain exempt from the 25% tariff, keeping lucrative cross-border transactions alive and well. However, sellers with newer enthusiast cars—(those less than 25 years old)—now face a significant disadvantage when targeting U.S. buyers. With a hefty 25% price increase looming, these vehicles are far more likely to stay in Canada, creating an exciting and exclusive opportunity for domestic buyers and sellers. Some examples of popular models affected by this tariff include: * BMW M3 & M5 (2001 - Present) * Porsche 911 (2001 - Present) * Nissan GT-R (R35) (2007 - Present) * Subaru WRX / WRX STI (2000 - Present) * Audi RS4, RS6, R8 (2006 - Present) * Mercedes-AMG Models (C63, E63, SLS, GT) (2008 - Present) With U.S. tariffs reshaping the collector car market, It remains unclear whether the new 25% tariff will apply to U.S.-spec vehicles that are less than 25 years old and are being re-imported into the U.S. For example, a 2007 Audi RS4 originally sold new in the U.S., exported to Canada, and now returning to the U.S. faces an uncertain tariff status. While official guidance is lacking, current information suggests that the new 25% tariff will likely still apply to these vehicles upon re-importation.
Does the speedometer show in Miles Per HOur or Kilometers per Hour?
@DLL58 only on US/Can made cars. All US/Canada (depending if you are in Canada or USA) made cars will face 25% tariffs. Mercedes Benz cars being made in Germany are exempt from the 25% tariffs.
I think, potential US Buyers would want to check with US Customs regarding the new 25% Tariffs. Everything I've read says, that now, only cars over 25 years old are exempt on importation from Canada

Welcome to my auction of this spectacularly optioned, very clean, CL63. I am proud to be handling the sale on MBMARKET. Extensive amount of work, time and money has gone into this vehicle for it to be where it is, the attention to detail is truly tremendous. I wanted to address a few things. – Canadian buyers will pay 5% GST + provincial sales tax if applicable – For American buyers, since IT IS A USA vehicle importing back into the US is straightforward and no taxes or fees are levied on the Canadian side. The car does not need any modification to meet USA standards. (Car was left into the USA standard when imported, system still in Fahrenheit) – Current import costs are: a 2.5% duty and a few hundred dollars in broker fees. TFX International will ship it to you, and their in-house broker will handle all the paperwork. You can request a quote from them here https://www.tfxinternational.com/ It can take them a couple of days for them to respond so it’s best to get in touch with them early. It drives like the day it drove off the lot. Thank you, and let’s see who takes this beast home.
