The car is finished in Arctic White (147) over Royal Blue Leather (272) and is powered by a 5.0-liter M119 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Factory 16″ alloy wheels wear a silver finish and are mounted with 225/55 Michelin Pilot tires. Thanks for the pics. A bit of surface but looks pretty good
Underside photos have been added to the gallery.
Are you a dealer?
@wrbix , I submitted the undercarriage photos. Private message me if they do not come up and I will email them to you. Dry as can be, no rust or any corrosion issues. Vin sticker present on rear bumper to show no prior paintwork.

@seller….. many thanks!
@wrbix , I will have one of the techs take some photos tomorrow.
@seller…,can the MB Dealer take a few undercarriage photos ? A big unknown here. Listings, IMHO, should provide these early on.
@wrbix , the car is currently at the MB dealer (Keyes European 2nd largest MB dealer in the USA. ) . If you are serious please reach out to me and we can have a ppi done.
In that the Kc, MO area salts their roads, can we please see some photos of the undercarriage? - especially the multi link rear suspension, front shock towers, and other areas not hidden by cladding. Thanks!
@Karlwho , Thank you for your questions, 1. As per the Becker radio, bluetooth was not added. It can be done for a nominal charge less than $200. I would have to check with the shop for the exact price. 2. 1990-1992 R129 did not come with the windscreen cover for the trunk. You can see the three strap hooks are not present. I believe it was a dealer option , since it does not show on the monroney, but on 1995 it shows wind deflector on the monroney. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-mercedes-benz-500sl-71/ , https://thembmarket.com/1991-mercedes-benz-500sl-1 , I also contacted the parts department at the MB classic center and do not show it for the vin # range. 1990-1992 3. I will get the video of the armrest on Monday or Tuesday. It functions as it should. The car is currently stored at the MB dealer.
Nice SL! Can you post a video of the drivers door pocket opening/closing? For the rebuilding of the radio, are you adding Bluetooth capability? Do you have the wind deflector holder for the trunk?

Welcome to my auction. I have owned the 1992 500 sl for 2 years. The car has all original paint that is in flawless condition. The original soft top is in excellent condition as well. The car is complete with original books, unused toolkit, spare tire and windscreen. I have had the car serviced when I purchased it by the MB dealer (Keyes European). I did the convertible top hydraulics at New Life Upholstery in Reseda out of an abundance of caution. I changed the shift knob to a burl walnut one, the original comes with the car. Both vanity visors as well as the vanity arm covers. A new accordion cover , (ordered from MB classic center in Long Beach). A new Mercedes Benz battery was installed a few months back as shown in the photos (date code). Both remote keys are in working condition accompany the car which is very rare. Video will be uploaded. The original radio will be installed back in the car after coming back from service. The car was just serviced at MB dealer in preparation for the sale as notated on the carfax history report.

“The upper dash is finished in contrasting black along with a black leather steering wheel.” Really MB Market author? Take a look again.
