This 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG was sold new by Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead in Arizona and shows registration history in Texas from 2003-2023 with just 49k miles on the odometer. Finished in Cubanite Silver Metallic (723) over Anthracite Leather (281), power is provided by a hand-built 5.4-liter supercharged V8 mated to a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, multicontour heated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Premium sound, Keyless-Go, Bi-Xenon headlamps, a 6-Disc CD changer and an 8-speaker Bose audio system. Recent maintenance includes an oil service and paint correction in preparation for the sale. This SL55 AMG is now offered for sale by the selling dealer in New York with one key, a Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.
The exterior is finished in Cubanite Silver Metallic (723) and features AMG body styling with sculpted front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and AMG quad exhaust tips. Additional exterior features include a power-retractable hardtop, Bi-Xenon headlamps with automatic level adjustment, LED turn signals, and heated windshield washers. An aftermarket front grill has been installed and the seller notes the front two hook cover is missing. A paint correction has been recently performed in preparation for the sale.
18” AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels are finished in chrome and come fitted with General G-Max tires measuring 255/40 front and 285/35 rear. The wheels show signs of curb rash in the finish. 8-piston AMG calipers are fitted up front with 4-pistons in the rear wearing silver paint and black AMG lettering. The AMG-calibrated Active Body Control suspension provides continuous leveling while offering adjustable ride height and stiffness.
The AMG steering wheel frames two-tone gauges with a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer currently shows just over 49k miles from new.
This hardtop SL is powered by a hand-built 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine which is factory rated for 493 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG SpeedShift five-speed automatic transmission. The selling dealer performed an oil service in preparation for the sale.
The Carfax report shows registration primarily in Texas with linear mileage updates from new. A minor accident is reported in 2021 with no airbags deployed. This 2003 SL55 AMG is now offered for sale with one key, a Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.
