This 2005 Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG is one of only 142 examples reportedly produced for the US market in the model year. It was first registered in California where it remained throughout its life and shows just over 48k miles from new. Finished in Pewter Metallic (723) over Charcoal Exclusive Leather (581), power is provided by a 6.0-liter bi-turbo V12 paired with a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Features include ABC active suspension, Keyless-Go, heated and ventilated multicontour front seats, an electronic trunk closer, a Bose surround sound system and much more. This flagship C215 has been tastefully modified with a Eurotek carbon fiber kit, an upgraded wood/leather steering wheel, a Vtech ECU tune and a TCU tune. Power estimates with the tune are 700bhp and 840 lb-ft of torque with a 30% faster shift rate over stock. Service within the last 4k miles includes all new coil packs & NGK Spark Plugs, new front brake rotors and pads, new trasnmission conductor plate/filter/gasket/connector plug, new Michelin Pilot Sport tires, an engine oil and filter change, brake fluid flush, coolant flush and ABC fluid flush. This CL65 is now offered for sale by the current owner with the original tool kit, spare tire, a clean Carfax report with extensive dealer service history and a clean California title.
The exterior is finished in Pewter Metallic (723) and features AMG styling including a sculpted front and rear bumper, side skirts and quad chrome AMG exhaust tips. Exterior features include bi-xenon headlamps, a heated windshield washer system, a power-closing trunk and a power operated glass sunroof. A Eurotek carbon fiber kit has been installed which includes a front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler and diffuser. The front tires are Michelin Super Sport tires fitted less than 1k miles ago while the rears are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires fitted 4k miles ago. AMG 8-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers are painted silver with AMG lettering and are mounted with two-piece ventilated discs. Close-up images of the wheels are viewable in the gallery below. The front brake pads and rotors were replaced at 44,500 miles.

An aftermarket wood/leather steering wheel fronts a 220-mph speedometer with a floating needle alongside a tachometer, fuel level indicator and coolant temperature gauge. A configurable digital display sits in the center and is accompanied on either side by digital displays for the outside temperature and a digital clock. The digital odometer reads 48,476 miles of which 17k miles have been added by the seller in the past nine years.
This C215 is powered by an AMG-tuned 6.0-liter bi-turbo V12 which was hand assembled and signed by Volker Hagg and was rated at 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque from the factory. This example features a Vtech engine tune which increases the power to 700bhp at the crank and 840 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission. The transmission has received an aftermarket tune allowing it to complete quicker shifts by approximately 30% over the stock configuration. A cold start, general tour & driving video is viewable below.
With 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, the M275 was by far the most powerful engine AMG had fitted to a production car when it was launched. First offered in three cars, the SL, S-Class and CL, the M275 took luxury performance to a whole new level. This particular example needed more... raising those figures to a whopping 700bhp and 840 ft-lbs of torque. Through the use of ABC active hydraulic suspension, AMG was able to provide an S-Class level of ride comfort while retaining some level of agility in this 4,700 pound pillarless coupe. With only 777 units ever produced (and only 142 2005 CL65s) the C215 CL65 is quickly becoming a collectible coupe. And given its rarity, performance capabilities, and uncompromised level of luxury, it still offers a great value for an enthusiast looking for the ultimate grand-touring machine. This tastefully-modified example checks all the right boxes to make it the ultimate C215... and sports the right history, service and climate to make it "the one to buy".

@mbz2000 hey buddy when I did the full inspection all the mounts were in perfect condition. The only bushing that was going out was the passenger control arm, and I actually replaced the entire control arm, everything else is like new the engine and trans are solid, no play at all. The care was completely bone stock all of its life, I literally slapped the tune on maybe 6 months ago but only put maybe 300 miles with the tune. The car just sits in the garage. As far as service records I’d have to dig up what I can I have receipts all over the place I’m just currently out of town.
arashf408 Have the motor mounts and the transmission mount been replaced yet? The CL55 and CL65 are notorious for eating those due to huge torque #'s. However, since you've done a tune even more so the question. You mention that the car has been in family for about 12 yrs. are y'all the 2nd owners or 3rd plus? One more item, do you happen to have a current copy of a Mercedes VMI report regarding the maintain history performed through a Mercedes Dealership since inception? Thanks

@mbz2000 Correct the original steering wheel is not included, and if I remember correctly the Bluetooth does connect to iPhones however you can only make phone calls, you can’t connect to it and play music. I actually use a small Bluetooth device that connects to the cigarette port, and that works perfectly fine for music, and phone calls.
@mbz2000 The listing description has been updated...Thank you!
I believe that MB Market needs to update the description that this particular vehicle has the BOSE Sound system and not the Harman Kardon system found in newer model year CL's. Also, arashf408 am I to understand that the original steering is not included? Invoice included in pictures above state "return core". I see that this vehicle has the compete telephone communications module, does the bluetooth function with current model Apple iPhones for telephone and Music properly?
