Date codes on the tires read 2017 and 2018. A full-size spare is fitted in the trunk along with the factory tool kit and jack. The Active Body Control suspension provides both adjustable ride height and stiffness.
The cabin is upholstered in Charcoal Nappa Leather (581) with an Alcantara headliner and black AMG embroidered floor mats. Burl Walnut wood trim can be found lining the center console, dashboard, door panels and grab handles. Both front seats are heated and ventilated and offer multicontour adjustment with massage. This W220 AMG is powered by a hand-built 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 which is rated for 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Partial service history is included with the most recent oil change being performed in March 2023. Underbody photos have been provided by the seller showing no signs of corrosion.
The Carfax report shows three owners with linear mileage updates, and no accidents or damage reports since new. This 2006 S65 AMG is now offered with the original manufacturer’s literature, first aid kit, spare tire and tool kit, a clean Carfax report and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
When nothing but the absolute best will do, the flagship S65 AMG is often the weapon of choice. The car does almost everything perfectly. Whether you're looking for the utmost luxury and comfort or have a desire for brute power and speed, the S65 will do both and oftentimes at the same time. We're huge fans of this particular AMG and not only because it's more rare than a Murcielago. It requires a refined taste to appreciate such untamed luxury and knowing there's a V12 just begging to be let loose under the hood completes the facade. As a 2006 model, this S65 is a final year example of the W220 making it the ultimate spec. We've seen various cars age well over time but the W220 AMG in particular has really matured well as a proper flagship sedan. The factory two-piece wheels alone would set you back a few grand and the plethora of options on this example are surely worthy of an S-Class Mercedes-Benz. If you're looking for the best of the best, look no further.

@geri are you still looking for a e500 mate?
@mikelaca will keep you posted mate
@mikelaca interesting comments. Transmission and engine mounts, flex joints, ABC Rodeo, tranny service, brake fluid, coolant flush and a Bosch 010 intercooler pump. What am I missing? Side note: Base MSRP on this vehicle was $169k.
Wow, the seller is a very lucky guy. To get that price with the questionable maintenance, back of a cocktail napkin 3rd party inspection, taking ages to get back to questions, circumspect answers. And he got less than 10K away from a 2008 CL65 40th Anniversary with a $300k MSRP that sold on here last week, seller should be thrilled. Would love to know from the buyer if he ends up putting $5k or $25k into this car to get it pristine later this year.

Beautiful machine. The S55 AMG is fast, but the S65 AMG is on a whole-different-planet fast. And smooth. This is the second-lowest mileage example I have ever seen.

@seller, any chance for that inspection report or service records as we reach the final 24 hours? Know its not extensive based on mileage but must be some!
@ modeh14, or on US 42?
@Modeh14 I would need your location was thinking it was off or near Tylersville Rd?

Can vehicle be iin-person inspected locally in West Chester?
The car is beautiful. I purchased a 2004 S55 AMG two months ago and even enjoy it as I replace ABC components. Joy to drive, as this one will be also. Good luck to the biders.

@Saqjan According to my knowledge and expertise and previous owners there is no paintwork on the vehicle. The emblems are not crooked and there is no evidence of glue or anything around them, oem from factory. In one of the pictures the trunk was not closed all of the way. Car is about as perfect as new.
@Nitrojav Thanks for your interest! Vehicle is in West Chester, Ohio. You are more than welcome to come inspect it.
@mikelaca I am trying to get it in for inspection before the auction is over to put your mind at ease. The vehicle is as perfect as they come with nothing requiring attention. I will try to go through the receipts when i have time and upload them here. Your more than welcome to come inspect it yourself.
@RocSld2 Thanks for your interest! Vehicle is as perfect as they come. NO error messages what so ever, no codes, nothing faulty. I put in a brand new battery from mercedes this year and all is 100%.
@Geri thank you for your interest! Very well known on these older imports the clear coat they put on these rubber buttons starts to residue, they are actually in very good condition, easily cleaned off. I did not remove it, i feel it protects the plastic underneath. I have successfully removed it all on a Ferrari 360, to where they are bone dry. However, the buttons are unharmed.
@Boyko16 I have the records that were done by the previous owners. Car is in excellent condition. I will be getting a PPI by a certified import specialist and post the results on here for you guys to see to reassure you of the condition of the vehicle and its beauty.
@Modeh has there been any paint work done to the car? i see that the emblems on the trunk are crooked and one of the door handle close up pictures i can see the basecoat under the clear is a little off, looks like the handle and door were painted. Also i did notice the trunk sits a little up. Could you clarify these points. Thank You
Hi, Is it ok if I can check the car with a star diagnosis to verify mileage? Thank you, Jav
$22,250 bid placed by @RocSld2
Dear Seller, Are you able to upload a VMI document? If not, can you tell us what, if ANY records you have with this car for maintenance? Because I fear without service records or a VMI any bidder would need to budget (reduce their max) by $10K to cover the 4-5 typical items this car would need at this age (regardless of it's low miles).
Greetings, I have taken a look at the car and i will say that since I own of these already it's nice to see another one that's treated with so much care. I am interested on the vehicle, have couple of questions at this time. Is the SAT radio working and have you gotten any error messages through the command unit such as updating data or flash drive damaged? Thanks, Rocsld2
Hi to the seller of the car and congratulations for this excellent unicorn. Can you please comment on the consumption level of the light button and steering wheel buttons ? Referring to pic 90 and 91 🙏🏻 looks like the previous drivers decided to use them with their tooth 🤔 Did the car stayed on flat tires? I see picture 79 and 82 showing certain imperfections. Thank you for bringing such an example to the open market and good luck with the auction.

Seems like it’s in a exceptional good condition! Like brand new! Do you have all of the maintenance records on file?
$8,750 bid placed by @Boyko16
@E350mania That is correct. We will take care of title transfer and can help you arrange shipping anywhere at wholesale costs to you.
@geoffair Thank you for your interest! Under my ownership it say in a heated garage and enjoyed on a few occasions when the weather was beautiful. Everything works as it should and is in perfect order. An inspection is more than welcome. I do not have any recent records, nothing was needed to be done since I purchased it.
Since this is being sold by a dealership are you able to arrange title transfer and shipping?
@sedancollector thanks, you’re right, if anything it’s an even more complicated system. That said, it still works via struts and a central pump. The struts degrade overtime and the pump can fail. The struts are what I referred to as “bags”, and each one can fail individually. With ABC you also have the added bonus of the internal components degrading over time and clogging the lines, which can cause the entire system to fail.
@geoffair This car has abc suspension. Big difference.
In your ownership and maintenance - any status on the engine mounts and the airmatic suspension components (bags / pump)? My first car was a '00 S430 and those were the largest failures (woof - each wheel was a quick $1200). Any recent services that provide any level of inspection report on engine components?

@stathios .. will post paint meter readings on here . Thanks for your interest! @ britton9d.. Care is absolutely gorgeous! Will take a closer look to be able to answer your question. I do not believe there are any holes drilled. They should be removable.

Beauty! Are those radar indicators mounted in front of the gauge cluster? Are they functional? I didn’t see any radar in the grill etc. Removable? Any holes drilled?
Please post paint meter readings
