@mbz2000 Fog lights are wired though the factory switch on the dash and the additional driving lights are wired to a switch (green) to the left of the steering wheel, additional note the lights are all wired to only come on when the parking or headlights are turned on... so you if you forget to turn them off they'll automatically shut off when the headlights shut off. As for the tires they fit without any modification as they are barely larger in diameter than the stock size, add bonus is they don't change the speedo more than 1-2mph.
Good point on the bumpers. Early W163 bumpers degrade to the point where if you hit them, they’ll actually shatter into a bunch of pieces. GLWA!
Great truck, how are the Hella lights wired? Where is the on/off switch? I do not see in any pictures. Also, have you lifted the truck slightly to fit these tires? I understand that the torsion bars on either side can be adjusted for added height and also spacer can be applied for additional height?

This looks very nice and well maintained. Very similar to my black ML55 and I wouldn't hesitate to drive this thing anywhere.

@skydog6121 GA has annual emissions inspections for areas directly around Atlanta but no “safety inspections”, don’t think the lack of rear catalytic converters would be a problem as they’re placed post sensor(s)… no engine light but every state is different.
PS-I don't see any inspection stickers on this, does Georgia have inspections?
wondering if removing the cat converters would be a problem passing emission testing here in PA?
Hello all! This has been our reliable go to daily for the last seven plus years and we’ve enjoyed its reliable ruggedness the whole time. Welcoming questions and anyone to came take a look in-person. This is best described as a clean well maintained driver, overall condition would be consistent or more inline with a sub-100k mile ML, only maintenance or mechanical issue to note is front different mounts could be replaced but could easily be driven anywhere and anytime without worry. We’ve never hesitated to take this for a drive, only reason we're selling is we're trying something different.
@AutoSavant50, @ProdigalPetrolHead is correct with the addition of the better approach angle, the pre-facelift bumpers are smaller in all dimension other than width. Also, anyone who's had a facelift 163 will know the cracking that occurs with just age, these pre-facelift don't seem to have that issue.

@AutoSavant50 If I had to guess it's for better ground clearance and bull bar fitment. Great looking 163 by the way!
What was the reasoning behind back dating the front and rear bumpers?
