What did it it cost to refurb these?
@mercedesmike. Yes anytime the wheels are not an exact fit these are the things to look out for.
Not just offset to consider - I bought a set of winter tires on knockoff 2 peice AMG 18” wheels and the caliper rubbed the inner barrel of the wheel on the front of the S55 I had intended them for. OE 18” w220 AMG wheels did clear (I had test fitted before I bought the others!) and I would expect these would clear, and there are almost certainly brake size variations among the AMG w220’s, but potential bidders should be aware of all the possibilities.
@mercedesmike. That is correct. However Looking at the mercedes fitment chart Brabus made a wheel up front on the W220 that is 18x8.5 ET35 and the front wheels on this set are 18x8.5 ET38. This closeness in offset should allow for the wheel to fit the W220 without spacers.
@mercedesmike Ill give this one to you my man congrats, hopefully we hit reserve though
You should also keep in mind that not all a 18 inch wheels will clear the front calipers on a W220 S 55
@S55Mina. Will try to add a few photos of my old car so you can see what 18s look like on the car.
If you’ve bought the other number at retail, I don’t think I’m gonna be real competitive - but we’ll try!
@Smrlsn09 Do you have a photo by chance? Then closest thing to a photo I have is on my youtube channel profile picture https://www.youtube.com/@37mina88 I could also email you a photo of my car lol

@S55Mina. The W220 stock single piece Cromodora rim that went on many S500 and S55s were 18s. I had a 2006 S500 for a while with those wheels and the ride quality was very smooth. Im assuming the ride quality would be very similar with these wheels on there.

@mercedesmike @Smrlsn09 I was also wanting the 18s too for a better ride quality, a 20 inch wheel of mine cracked and bent, I bought the car with them and always wanted to downsize too since Ive gone through 6 tires in 2 years
@S55mina. The offsets in the front and rear are very close to the offsets of wheels offered on the W220 so there should be no clearance issues or rubbing of any kind.
@Smrlsn09 yeah I was hoping i wouldnt need spacers thank you, just dont want to drive my e class and have the s55 on its spare for too long
@S55mina. If you have a W220 these wheels should be able to go right on without spacers.
@mercedesmike One of my wheels is bent and cracked so for me right now its just to have my car back lol, can send you a vid of the damage if you like
@S55MIna - or at least the 19" version of these from a W220!

@S55Mina - your S55 should have the other style two piece Cromodora's - leave these for me!

I wish my wagon was graphite grey metallic like the sample car.... Silver is next best though.

@mercedesmike. Here is the VIN # WDBUF77X38B321976. This particular car had the silver alloy rims originally and was redone in gunmetal. https://autotech-miami.com/details.php?stockid=1004. If you copy and paste you can see what the silver and grey wheels look like.
If you'll share the VIN for the designo car, I'd love to know if the color is factory, but it won't affect my bidding regardless! Have a silver E63 Wagon I hope to have out of the body shop by the end of year, and it needs these wheels like I need fresh air.
After searching more I found a really nice example of a 2008 E63 Amg with the Designo Exterior Package. This car for sure has the 18” wheels and they are done in this dark grey. This particular car originally had the silver alloy color and was redone in the gunmetal. I have pictures of the car with the rims in both colors showing the difference. I will try to have these photos uploaded quickly before the auction ends.

@mercedesmike. You may be right about the silver W211 photo that they are 19s or it could be that it was lowered. The green W211 photo looks like it has the 18s to me based on its fitment and stance.
The reference pictures are almost certainly the 19" version from the W221's, just based on amount of rubber visible. In my opinion, the 19's are too big. EPC only shows one part number, with no color code variations for this wheel. So I think they were never offered this way, but I think they should have been! See ya'll in a couple hours!

Hey @mercedesmike. I am not certain about if these wheels were offered in this color. When I acquired this set I did some research and saw several examples of W211 E63s online with this color scheme. I can upload a few pictures that I took of it as a reference.
Were these wheels ever offered in this color combo? I know its the same color combo as the R230 2 Piece Cromodora's, and honestly I LOVE it, but did see any in this color combo when looking at comps.

Hi @TariqW. The front wheels should fit fine up front the offsets are very similar but some sort of setup may be needed for the rears for your SL R230
Hi. Will the wheels fit 2005 SL500/R230?
Hi @Billcourcy. Based on the offsets these wheels should fit the W212 with a 10mm spacer front and rear.
Will these fit w212 sedan

Hey everyone. While installing the caps, two of the wheels had very minor chips around the center. These tiny blemishes have been touched up good as new where I got the wheels refinished. I have taken some new photos showing the two wheels along with close ups of the center where the error occurred. Photos should be uploaded shortly.
Hi @mercedesmike. Shipping to your area in Tennessee should cost $175
Shipping cost to 37923?

Hi @MadeinGermany. These wheels have a 5x112 bolt pattern. They should be able to fit all w211 models.
Hi. Would love to put these wheels on my 2009 Wagon. Would the rear offset +44 work on a 4-Matic? What bolt size would I need?
$250 bid placed by @Cedesfan
@Smrlsn09 thanks for clarifying.
Hi @Nomadiccustoms. These wheels were just refinished to the highest degree. The wheels are powdercoated. There is some very minor chipping there from installing the center caps on those 2 wheels. Not to worry I will have my refinishing guy touch them up no problem and will add some additional photos when they are done so you can see.
Hi, it looks like 2 wheels have some chipping/damage around the center cap? Photos 37 & 39. What was the refinishing process? Painted or Powdercoated? Thanks in advance.
Hi everyone. I am proud to present these 18” Staggered Two Piece W211 Cromodora wheels. As mentioned in the listing, these wheels were part of the P30 Package as an option for the E63. These wheels are rare in the sense that they were only offered in 2008 and 2009. These rims would be a seamless transition for any E55 owners who have the stock 18” Amg wheels. I learned on the 500Eboard Forum that these wheels can fit nicely on the W124 500E with a 15mm spacer front and rear. I am here to answer any questions.
