This 2009 Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG is finished in designo Mocha Black (033) over designo Light Brown Nappa Leather (X35), and power is provided by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 driving all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and triple locking differentials. Factory features and equipment includes heated and ventilated multi-contour front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a heated windscreen, added rear seat entertainment, and an upgraded aftermarket Dynavin COMAND unit with CarPlay. The included Carfax report shows 48 service record entries since the pre-delivery inspection in 2008. Oil changes have been performed every 5k miles and service in preparation for the sale includes a new differenital switchover valve, new fuel pump, and all new fluids throughout. Now with just under 96k miles, this G55 AMG is offered with two keys, a Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title.
This W463 is finished in designo Mocha Black (033), and exterior features include a power-operated sunroof, automatic headlights with washers, fog lights, running boards, dual side exhaust outlets, a rear wiper, turn signal and tail light guards, and rear parking sensors. The rear hatch door has some prior paintwork as a result of minor rust remediation under prior ownership. Smoked side marker lights have been installed and the originals will also be included. Damage reported on the Carfax is reportedly due to contact with a mailbox. Detailed photos of the body panels and trim are provided in the image gallery below.
AMG five-spoke 19″ wheels have been professionally powder coated in black and are wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion tires measuring 275/55 at all four corners. A full size spare is mounted to the rear door of this G-Wagon. Rear brake pads and rotors are said to have been installed in early 2024. Brake fluid and locker fluid flush were performed last week along with all other fluids/oils.
The cabin is upholstered in designo Light Brown Nappa Leather (X35) with matching door panels, contrasting stitching, and burl walnut trim accenting the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable, multi-contour heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a heated rear bench, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The factory COMAND head unit has been replaced with an aftermarket Dynavin COMAND unit featuring CarPlay capabilities. Wear is noted on some interior touch points along with a crack in the wood veneer. The OEM Alcantara headliner is loose in areas and can be seen in the gallery.
The multi-function heated steering features burl walnut accents and frames a 180-mph speedometer as well as a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The center LCD screen shows all working pixels and can cycle through various settings via the steering wheel controls. The digital odometer indicates just under 96k miles.
The supercharged 5.4-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and three locking differentials that are controlled via switches on the dashboard. The included Carfax report shows 48 service record entries since the pre-delivery inspection in 2008. Oil changes have reportedly been performed every 5k miles. Service in 2024 includes replacement of all accessory pulleys, the drive belt, the supercharger belt and pulley, rear brake pads and rotors, and a front stabilizer strut. In January 2025, the seller has installed a new differenital switchover valve, new fuel pump, and flushed all fluids including the brake fluid, coolant, supercharger oil, engine oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, differential oil, and transfer case oil.
The Carfax report shows no accidents and the aforementioned damage report in January of 2022, along with linear mileage updates since new. This G55 AMG is offered with two keys, a Carfax report, and a clean Maryland title.

Had someone ask me if there is any smoke or any odor inside the car. There is absolutely no odor besides the original Mercedes leather and carpet smell. This has been very well maintained and will come detailed for the next buyer. Goodluck again to all and hope today’s your day to own a very clean and special G55 AMG!

I know the photos are horrible but that was the only time that week where it stopped snowing and was sunny for few hours then snowed again. Paint is literally flawless and not a scratch I can see anywhere and absolutely no dings or dents either. The Mocha black paint is probably the nicest color on a G wagen. It’s metallic gives it some green/brown hue and shines beautifully with sunlight but also looks black in the shade.

Hello everyone, FINAL DAY! Want to let everyone know this G is amazing in every way. So clean inside and out and so perfect mechanically. You will be super happy with it because it has been very well treated and maintained. A few things to point out here below… 1- The G has been garaged and is staying until pick up by buyer or transporter. 2- I can hold the G in the garage for up to 3 weeks as long as payment has been made within 3 days after the auction ends. 3- I can help with transportation as I know a few very reliable and honest logistics companies that are usually fairly priced too. 4- I can undercoat the undercarriage you want me to although it is not necessary at the moment as it is very solid and in good shape. 5- all original side marker lights and original infotainment system will come with the truck along with extra new TPMS(s) and bullbar key etc… AC and heating works perfectly and so does heated and cooled seats. All factory options. I have looked over the G and assure you it needs nothing at the moment and wouldn’t hesitate driving to California right now. Hope it goes to a good home and please let me know if you have any questions! Goodluck to all and have a nice day!

@Stevehall no problem, let me know if you have any other questions or if you want to come see it in person.
Thanks
@Stevehall hi there, yes it has backup camera originally and also with this Dynavin which I think is a great upgrade. It will come with stock infotainment system as well if you wanted to go back to stock. The Dynavin currently on there has Apple/Android carplay and is wireless which is nice.
Does it have a backup camera?
@W463 I also encourage looking at the photos and use common sense to see there is no rust underneath. If a G wagen is rusted you will see signs at multiple areas before see it anywhere else as in under the windshield gasket, rear quarter panel seams near taillight, seams at quarter panel under the rear windows, bottom of doors similar to Land Rover Defender, underneath door handles, door hinges and cargo door washer fluid nozzle. This one does not have anywhere on the body and besides minimal surface rust which can easily be undercoated if buyer wanted to. I would also have no problems doing it free of charge if buyer wanted me to do that. This G55 was bid to $40,500 on here a few months ago and the reserve was not met because it is worth much more. Goodluck to all of you!
@W463 I bought the car from a gentleman that lived an hour away from where I live. I know the truck very well and that’s why I bought it. If you look at the photos you’ll see there is no real rust besides very minimal surface rust. I didn’t want to undercoat the chassis because it doesn’t need it and will raise questions. Also included in the photos is the rear original shock/spring perches which were grind down to bare metal, sanded, primed, painted and also top coated. I own 5 G wagens and this one is super clean and well maintained. The rear entertainment were added by third party before exporting in 2009. Many people don’t know this company was the sole company who installed these entertainment systems for Mercedes, Volkwagen and also Audi starting in 2006. Similar to Brabus modifications. Been driving and working on G wagens since 2017 and I can tell you and everyone interested in this G that this will last a long time and will not need any major repairs besides regular routine maintenance.
The vehicle was acquired earlier this month. Previous auctions show considerable rust on the undercarriage. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2009-mercedes-benz-g55-amg-6/ https://carsandbids.com/auctions/3yWyVNwd/2009-mercedes-benz-g55-amg Clarification on level of work done to address the rust would be helpful to the bidders. Factory rear seat entertainment wasn’t available until the later W463 models and have Mercedes branded monitors.

@outlier4x4 Thanks for the comment. Yes, this one is truly a clean one and a very special color combo. Hope it goes to someone who will maintain and keep it as clean as it is now. Photos are not great but I promise it looks a lot nicer in person and unfortunately this was the only day I could take photos after the snow we had in VA.
In a market flooded with over-modified G's it's refreshing to see one so clean and OEM. Good luck with the auction!

@AE1728 hi there, the headliner sag is very common on G55 unfortunately but is not an expensive fix as it just needs to be glued back on professionally which usually is about $300-$400. The headrests and TV’s actually came from factory and was a special ordered so it was done by Mercedes and headrests match perfectly of course.
I can see the headliner sagging? Does the headrest leather match the rest of the car?
Good morning all! Just received a question from a user here about holding the car for some time until they can pick it up or have it shipped. I’m willing to hold the car in my garage for up to 3 weeks as long as payment is made within 3 days of auction ending. I can also help with transportation from door to door since I know and have worked with 2 very reliable and highly rated shipping companies. This beast will be detailed inside and out before it gets shipped or picked up. Have a great day!

@Smsarchitects I agree! Or it could’ve just been a mutual agreement where the previous owner just claimed it so he didn’t have to pay out of pocket. Not sure, didn’t get all the details. All I know is every single panel and paint is original. I assume only the bullbar contacted the mailbox. Its funny because my brother actually hit a mailbox the other day during the snow with his G wagen and there was a scratch on his bullbar and neighbors mailbox collapsed lol. These things are tanks!
@GClassicks not a very nice neighbor to report to police! yikes.
@Smsarchitects all original paint and the trucks never been repainted or touched up. Paint looks new and it is gorgeous in person. Special designo paint code and interior cinnamon color. It is a special one for sure.
@Smsarchitects hi, the previous owner said he scraped neighbors mailbox so it was claimed to replace the mailbox but not a scratch on the G itself.
any details available regarding damage in 2022? thank you
A walk around and driving video have been added to the listing.
@RDM7533 hi there, all 4 brake pads front and rear along with sensors were changed September of 2024 and per previous seller the rotors were replaced in late 2023. Brakes like a champ and no brake work needed for at least 20k-30k more miles. Will check on the tires for you tomorrow morning. Thanks

At what mileage were the front brakes and rotors last replaced? What are the 4 date codes on the tires? Thank you and good luck.

@GClassicks @mfedorov hi, there are no rust bubbles anywhere on the body and yes everything works electronically and mechanically.
Hello all and thanks for participating in my auction for this absolutely beautiful G55 AMG Kompressor! This is a very clean G wagen. Runs and drives perfectly and all fluids and maintenance are up to date. There are no rust anywhere on the body and very minimal surface rust on the undercarriage. Interior I would say is flawless and leather seats have no stains, rips or cracks. This is truly a keeper but Im downsizing at the moment. I planned to modify this one but it is too clean to mess with. If you have any questions or would like to come see it in person please let me know. Thanks all for joining the auction and happy bidding!
Any rust bubbles under windshield? Also, do seat bolsters still function?
