These 18″ AMG Monoblock Style I wheels measure 8.5″ wide in the front and 9.5" wide in the rear, and were manufactured in Belgium for use on R129 Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The wheels were removed from a factory Sport R129 and appear to be unrestored. Each wheel shows silver-painted faces and features machined lips. The backs show Mercedes-Benz stamped part numbers along with dimensions, offsets, and other manufacturer casting marks. These AMG wheels are now offered by the seller in Taiwan with shipping available.
These 5-spoke monoblock Style I wheels were originally mounted on a R129 SL500 Sport from the factory. The faces are painted silver with machined lips and appear to remain original in very good condition. The original "AMG" script is engraved on one spoke of the front of each wheel.
The front wheels measure 8.5" wide with an offset of +25, while the rear are 9.5" wide with an offset of +23. Their original Mercedes-Benz part numbers, A129 401 17 02 front and A129 401 18 02 rear, are stamped on the back. Close up photos of the back of the wheels are viewable in the gallery and all four wheels feature a 5x112mm bolt pattern. The wheels are made by Ronal exclusively for Mercedes-Benz in Belgium. These 18" monoblock Style 1 wheels have become one of the hardest wheels to track down today due to their high desirability on R129 vehicles. The wheels were standard on later model R129's equipped with the SL1 Sport Package. AMG monoblock wheels were the stylistic kings for Mercedes-Benz vehicles throughout the 90s and early 2000s and the R129 SL is no exception. I bought a set of these a few weeks ago for $450, a little patina and some scrapes, but look decent from 10ft (3m). Just got new tires yesterday and got them mounted on my 154kmi 2000 SL500 I got for cheap too. Didn't need pristine wheels, the car is a 26yo fun driver and I don't worry too much about it.
