The top is finished in Black (040) and features a panoramic glass roof and glass windows with painted steel bodywork along the frame. The seller notes an imperfection in the rear glass panel at the top as detailed in the gallery.

@01r129 Hi, thank you for your interest. These dimensions are approximate, I included the size of the hardtop itself and the height of the pallet. I did not include the rack dimensions. Zip code 33606.
@Andrii Does the approximate dimensions (6x6x2 ft) include the rack and pallet all together? Can you please provide the pickup zip code? Thanks.

@harry19 Maybe you are right. I ordered a rack for this panoramic roof, I will give it to the new owner, it is not a problem. I do not need the rack separately. The rack price is <100$. Therefore, there is no problem here. I want to be the most helpful seller for the new owner of my Hardtop, so either I will send the Hardtop and the rack to him together, or I will send it separately if the owner comes to pick up the Hardtop on his R129, or the third option, I will keep the rack for myself, and I will give the owner a discount on it if he does not need the rack or he already has one
@Andrii It will likely be safer to place it on the rack and place the rack on a pallet for shipping rather than laying it flat on a pallet during shipping.
@danijetpilot Hello, I'm still waiting for the seller. He promised and didn't send it. I have to go to him for 100 miles, if he doesn't send it, I'll come and pick it up on the spot. If the new owner needs the rack, of course it comes free of charge, along with the HardTop.
Did you receive the rolling rack for it? You're including it in the sale, correct?
A request to all buyers, please make sure that you can organize and calculate the delivery of the Hardtop to your location. The best option remains, to make a nice trip to Florida on your R129 and install the Hardtop there and drive home with it. Another good option would be to order a Bus that carries out irregular postal transportation. This can be very profitable and cheap.
@harry19 Hi, thank you for your interest. The approximate dimensions will be 6*6*2FT. This is a little bit of a margin for space. The dimensions are approximate, they may change slightly, depending on the height of the wooden pallet itself. The hardtop is in my garage, in a residential apartment. Access is possible for a large truck, cargo van or other transport. I can also deliver to the post office, but you need to be sure that they will accept this cargo. Also, you need to understand that the hardtop is almost all glass and insuring it with the carrier will not be cheap.
Hi @seller, I realize you already mentioned that you will prepare the roof for shipment by palletizing it, wrapping & strapping it. Do you know the approximate dimensions of what the packaged roof will be? Also will it be a residential or business pick up for your side? Attempting to get shipping quotes, thank you.

@Virafp Hi. Yes, on 20th picture you can see 3 small Air balls getting in between the double-glazed windows. This damage is not on the glass roof itself, but on the rear window. I don’t know, how much it will be cost to CA, but I think it’s not cheap.
@seller, is Pic 20 the damage you refer to? Cant tell exactly where this is and if it can be rectified?
Thank you, still interested in knowing what the ship cost to CA 90504 will be? Any ideas?

@Virafp Painting to match only involves the 2 metal sections on either side; between the glass roof and the side door & window trim.

Any idea what the shipping cost would be to CA 90504? Also, I would assume these are pretty easy to repaint to match your car? Has anyone had one painted, and approx cost? Thanks and GLWTA
@mrmadell Sure. I will help with the packaging. I will order a pallet, place the HardTop on a wooden pallet, secure it with straps, and add cardboard and stretch film to prevent damage. This will all be at my expense.
@mrmadell Hi. It was SL500 1997. This is VINnumber of it. WDBFA67F8VF141552

@seller What year was the r129? Do you help with shipping?
@Roverk Thank you for your interest in my lot. Actually, I bought this roof from my neighbor, who had a wonderful SL R129, but did not take care of it at all. I have a photo and VIN number of the car from which this hardtop came. The engine on that car jammed, no one wanted to repair it, so I simply offered to buy this panoramic roof from him. I ordered a rack for it, I'm waiting for them to send it by mail. At the moment, the hardtop is neatly standing in my garage.
How are you storing this so that it does not get damaged?
