This 1994 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet is finished in Imperial Red (582) over Beige leather (265) and powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a power-retractable black top, factory eight-hole 15″ alloy wheels, headlight wipers, power-adjustable and heated front seats, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Recent service includes new brake rotors and pads, rebuilt hydraulic top cylinders, new battery, fuel pump, and more. Notably, the head gasket and engine wiring harness have also been addressed. This A124 now shows 137k miles and comes with thorough history and maintenance records. This E-class cabriolet is now offered with factory literature, service receipts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title.

The car is finished in Imperial Red (582) with matching bumpers and lower body cladding. Features include a black power-operated soft top, headlight wipers, power-adjustable side mirrors, and a power antenna. The black soft top features an electrically-heated glass rear window. The top hydraulic cylinders were all rebuilt in July 2021 and the top functions as designed with no issues. The seller notes a crack along the lower passenger side rear bumper. Factory 15″ eight-hole alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires measuring 205/65 all around. In September 2021 the car received new brake rotors and pads at each corner along with a tire rotation.

The seats are upholstered in Beige leather (265) with matching Beige carpets, door cards, and embroidered floor mats. Burl wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional features include heated and power-adjustable front seats with memory functions, automatic climate control, cruise control, cup holders, and a Kenwood head unit. In October 2021 a new headlamp switch and wiper blade were installed. Additionally, the seat belt extenders were replaced and A/C recharged in June 2021.

The airbag-equipped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, along with gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer now shows 137k miles and there are currently no warning lights illuminated.

The 3.2-liter M104 inline-six was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque when new and sends power to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. Service records will accompany the sale and document over $15k worth of maintenance items addressed in April 2014 including a new head gasket. Other recent maintenance items addressed this year includes the following:

The MB Market Insights

We’re definitely not strangers to an E-Class Cabriolet (A124) in today’s market. It seems the major value add for these cars is maintenance history and for this example, the big three ticket items have been addressed along with a wealth of other services. For those not as familiar with the A124 but looking to experience a comfortable, reliable, and usable four-seater cabriolet, the three items we’re referring to are the engine wiring harness, top hydraulic cylinders, and head gasket. Receipts for all three are provided in the stack which will accompany the car. In 2014 alone, service receipts totalled over $15k as the owner wanted to ensure this car was properly maintained. The M104 engines have stood the test of time and have proven to be reliable power plants. In a sea of gray scale Benzes, the Imperial Red paint stands out and perfectly compliments the light Beige leather interior. Sporting a clean history and lots of recent maintenance, we expect the next owner can enjoy this E320 Cabriolet for many miles to come with no stress at all.

@Accoyo The top is new, as is the headliner. The Mercedes badge or emblem on the fender is an original crest to the car. The photo with the lights is a photo of the parking lights on ONLY. The third brake light functions properly.
